went out 11am sunday. Had a shot gun tournament in front of us. Had to wait 5 min every hole! Marshall us that it was exceptional that day. This course is relatively dry. very difficult to hit ball out of dried out marsh area. watch out for burns in middle of fairways. overall conditional very good.

Always my favorite course. It's one of better kept County course. Not a long course but has narrow fairway, small green, and lots of trees to challenge good players. They could improve on sand bunkers, which are like hard dirt now. Fairways are in great shape, didn't see brown area. They could grow the rough longer to make it even tougher. Greens needed to be trimmed. Putt were too slow. I think they are preparing for aerating next week. Overall, its' the best deal for the price!

some Monday in feb. 07 played here first time with a friend. They let us went out just by ourselves. We were amazed by the layout. Tee boxes, fairway, rough, and green were all in execellent condition. Greens looked slow but it's actually pretty fast when i putt. I 3 putted on many greens. Course layout required good course management and straight drives as each holes is surrounded by hazards (environmentally protected). I typically hit in mid 80 in regular LA county course, but i hit 99 on this course. I love the par 3 hole that was voted the best par 3 in so. cal. I could see some water hazards were dried out. Otherwise, this course will add another 10+ pts to it. Will definitely come back again.

Played here 2PM on 4/15/06, reasonable price, nice layout. Only complaint is tough to find golf balls. Can't really see where the ball is running into with all the slope and hazards. Lost a lot of balls. Greens are like US open. Most area are brown color. Fast green, a tap went pass hole like 5 feet. Only wish there are more water to play.

Played there 9AM on 9/26 Sunday. This golf course has very nice view. The speed was pretty good on a Sunday, we finished in 5 1/2 hours, same everywhere in county course. The fairways have a lot of yellow spots and it's not maintained in excellent way. Greens are hard to read though, most of them break to ocean no matter what slope it has! Overall, good course to play. Will come back again if I can get morning tee time again.

play here almost every Saturday. It's normal to finish this course over 5 1/2 hours on weekend. I believe this is the case in every county course. Narrow fairways make this course a fun course to play and improve short game. People need to repair their divots, please. Overall, great course for the price.

Played here on 8/25/03. I bought a 11AM teetime from online for just $19 including cart. What a nice deal! It was my first time play there. I loved it so much. The course is so challenging, greens and fairways are kept in good condition. Better than Montebello Golf Course. I will definitely go back.

Played here on Aug. 17th afternoon. It seem like they never water the course. The fairway are so hard, brown colored in most area. Greens are extremely fast. You have to hit and drop your ball maybe 15 feet if you want the ball to get close to flag.
However, course layout is good. I like the waters in play for some holes. You have to be good in course management or you'll lose a lot of balls.

Played there two weekend in a row. Love it. Good distance course, fast green, and nice design course, but too crowded. Expect 5 hours play.

Played PM on 6/2/03. Overall, this course is nice to play. But, there are some kind of irrigation project going on. So you'll see trucks and pipings on ground. Fairways are pretty wide open. Fairway rough is ridiculoursly long, and make it hard to play there.
