This course is such a hidden gem.

It is one of the BEST in San Diego and it is tucked away on a military recreation site, for lack of a better term.

It is one of the most fun courses in San Diego and is consistently is descent shape. It is also 100x more fun than the south course which is also not bad either.

The holes are unique and a lot of fun with many bunkers and several water hazards.

On the back 9 there is a hole that doglegs lefts deep in a canyon and is a blast. Trying to go for it is always so fun, but too tough now that all the brush has grown from the wet season. Take my advice and do not go look for your ball in the foxtails. Getting them stuck in your socks the rest of the day is NOT worth it.

Love this course and will play here any day!

Just played last weekend. The greens were in the best shape I have ever seen on a golf course.

This course is very challenging and if you cannot hit a fairway to save your life, you better bring extra balls. You only get about 10 yards either side to make a mistake on most holes, otherwise you are dropping.

A lot of elevation to this course, if you are walking be warned! But, this also makes it fun. #17 has a tee-box that is about 100' above the green I would guess. Sadly, #18 is the most underwhelming hole on the course.

A lot of fun and a good course to play!

Love this course.

It is a lot of fun and one of the best military courses around. Greens are descent and bite well.

My favorite hole is #12 which is a par 3 straight into dog beech. 30 yards behind the green is the sand and waves. That offshore breeze really comes into play and is the most rewarding green to hit.

The worst part of the course is the tee-box on #5 which is a par3. The tee-box is small and so it seemingly never recovers from the divots, but they are trying to fix it.

No cart girl is ever driving around which is a total bummer.

The glizzys are a 7/10 and get them after #11.

Driving range is off the matt and the several years I have played there half of it is always closed for some reason. Chipping and putting greens are fine.

Friendly, relaxed, and fun course. Always love to play here.

The course is a lot of fun and considering the 100+ degree weather, it is in good shape. Compared to the rest of the courses in the west valley, I would say this is one of the better maintained.

Driving range is off the grass and they regularly move the ropes so its not usually in a spot thats dug out. Practice green is huge and in good shape for many to warm up. Chipping green is average.

The best part of this course is the conditions of the greens considering weather. They are a little tricky and medium-fast. Anyone in the west valley should play this course at least once if they can. Great price for military and decent for civilian as well.

The staff is always nice and friendly. I love to play here.
