Got out to Riverwalk yesterday with the GK coupon ($35). I usually play this course 3 or 4 times a year. It has always seemed to be a average course at best. Yesterday was no different. They always seem to have issues with GUR on the fairways. The tee boxes were ok and sand seemed about average. The greens were pretty slow but definately the best part of the course. The guys we got paired up with were locals who played it all the time and had a blast playing with them. Hope they finally get this course where it should be.

Just spoke to the course and they told me they are punching greens on Monday October 9th

Two words...horrible conditions! The greens weren't bad but not good either. The fairways were brown patches everywhere. Tee boxes were in bad shape. I don't mind a course if the conditions get a little shabby but a course like Talega that thinks it's a high end course to get this bad is awful. We paid $59 (reg was $80). I would have been ok paying $35 but it was no better than local munis. Will not be back unless prices drop or conditions improve.

Played 4/17 and I'm not sure about all the low ratings. The greens rolled true and were a little quicker than average. It was a week before they punched. The fairways were fine. The tee boxes were a bit unlevel and chewed up but for the views and the price a very enjoyable round.

Course in decent shape. A few brown patches in fairways. Pace of play good for a friday afternoon (4:15)

Had heard a lot of good things about Goose Creek and it certainly lived up to them all. Fantastic track. Greens were much more difficult than I expected. Back nine had some terrific risk/reward holes. Pace was good. Wish it was closer. I will be back.

Amazing course. Fires were all around it but very little damage to course.

Played on Sunday afternoon. Wind was definitely a factor. The course is beautiful. Greens were fast but true. My partner did not enjoy it as much. It was a little to tricked out.

A mature course. Has many mature trees. Flat course, easy to walk. Greens were flat and rolled true. Only negative was they allowed fivesomes which slowed our twosome done considerably on the back nine. Worth the price.

Played New Years Day. Got a special rate on a website for $22.00 and was surprised how empty the course was. There was a chance of rain, we went off at 12:45 and finished by 4:15. Greens were in great shape. Fairways were a bit sloppy with the rain from the previous day. Great price fast round and good condition.
