Played on Fri, Dec 1 in the afternoon. I was extremely disappointed as I used to play Eagle Glen regularly & it used to be a nice course. Now it looks like they let the course go, fairways are terrible, lots of bare spots. Hole #10 tee box is thrashed & looks like it’s been closed for a while. The pace of play is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Hole #5 had a 4 group backup!! That’s ridiculous & we did not see a Marshall ever. I do not recommend going here unless something drastic changes in course conditions & pace of play.

Very good shape, liked how they punch 1/2 the greens, so you don't have deal with the whole green being bumpy. And they put the holes in the 1/2 where they aren't punched, so as long as you hit great approach shots, you will score well.

I played this course finally for the first time & it met the hype. It's in great shape & the front nine and back nine are very different. The greens look hard, but they actually hold. A little on the short side (even playing from Black tees), but challenging enough to make it interesting. The only problem is the location -- way out there!! It's a long haul from the OC.

This course still needs to mature, as greens were hard & do not hold well. Also, the course definitely has a lot of slope, meaning you don't often get flat lies. Sometimes you hit great shots, but still do not get rewarded here with a good/flat lie.

Even after the rain, the greens were firm & do not hold well. It doesn't deserve the 9+ immaculate rating at this time. Give it time to recover and hopefully it will be back in top shape.

Disappointed after all the hype on this course. The fairways & greens are rock-hard like cement. The pace of play for a Monday was horrible - 5.5 hours. And there is no halfway house/snackbar at the turn. Relies on cart girl who we only saw once. The layout is OK - only a couple of holes that are memorable, otherwise ordinary. There are way better courses out there that have better layouts, much better conditions and better value.

I saw this was rated #1 on Greenskeeper.org, so I decided to trek out there and check it out. Good as advertised! Greens are amazing - like carpet. Play from the blue tees for handicaps 10 or less. It's a great challenge, especially with the wind.

course is in very good shape. waited most holes, but still played under 4.5 hrs. Always windy, but a good layout and if you're an SCGA Member, definitely worth the price!

too many beginners & slow play - backed up 3-4 groups!

I didn't think it was quite a 9.15 (immaculate). Traps were inconsistent and rough had plenty of bare spots. However, I'd rate it in great shape, but it's way out there (long drive) and would only play if you get a discount.

Course is kept up in excellent condition, but pace of play is horrible on weekends - they pack 'em in. If you're gonna drive way out there for $69, it's not worth it due to pace of play - 5 - 5 1/2 hour rounds.

Course is in excellent condition! Plush. Greens are consistent. Rates are very good. Only downside is no snack bar at the turn - have to wait for cart service.
