Played on Nov 2, very first tee time of the day.
Almost my home course and always enjoying play here.
As the first team out, POP was great. little less then 4 hrs. It's normally 4-4.25 hr in general in weekends.

Greens are about to be aerated, but still great and rolling great.
All other parts, fairway, rough were great. Bunkers were still little wet for first tee timers, but better if you went fairway bunkers.

Overall, a great starting of a day, I hit no better than my average score, but not worse at all.

Once the greens get back to normal, I will definitely go and play again.

Played 10/12 Sat, started before noon.
Pace was not fast, as expected for weekend afternoon of this town Solvang. A lot of tourists. But Whenever I played in weekend mornings, the pace was fine.
Clubhouse and proshop are great, friendly.

Green is great, considering drought in CA, Fairway and rough are all well maintained.
Early afternoon first half was enjoyable, and second half was quite challenging because of the head wind. But strong or weak enough to test your game.

It gets quite quickly heated here in the afternoon, so keep yourself hydrated.
The very only weak part is somewhat narrow and small driving range.

Overall it's nice, enjoyable course.

Played all day (two rounds) on 9/20, with living social voucher, so price-wise, great. (40+ for two rounds).
4-5 fairways are seeded, so it was cart path only for these holes. We were informed in advance, and range balls are given to treat for this situation. satisfied.

Friday morning was packed local elder ppl, so pace was slow, but we also have a couple of first timer here, so 5hr was expected. In the Afternoon, some wind was picked up, makes difference compare to morning round.

Green was great
Fairway was not bad. Rough was not too easy but playable.

Seeded and aerated fairways makes your show spike fully retarded with caked of mud but this was the only issue for us. But it was really annoying to tap out all mud with wedge edge.

I would come again if another good deal (voucher) showed up.

First time here today (Sat 9/14/13) and the course was in great condition.
It was early morning (7 am, 47$ riding) so pace of play was fast, fairway was a bit soaky but really good, green was pure and receptive.
Distance from from Goleta (1hr drive) is small issue to us but really want to come back soon and find better score.

Could be better to come with some course knowledge, but always fun.
