What has happened to this course? The condition and service has gone the way of the dodo bird. Played on 10/28/2017, the tee boxes were bare, the fairways were over watered with golf cart tracks through it, etc. Muddy muddy muddy. For the price paid, the course was not worth it. Might as go play smell "Prado" in Chino.

Haven't played this course in about a year, but it was never this bad. And back then, lots of the holes was cart only in order to keep the course in good condition. Not to mention, before than, the coolers had ice and water. Now, nothing. Avoid until conditions improve.

Of the course in Pebble Beach, I had more fun at Spanish Bay than Pebble.... (I know, how dare I) But it's the truth.

1) you're by the ocean
2) not a one trick course - bump and run, target golf, good luck find your ball hazards, etc
3) price wise, best bang for the buck at Pebble Golf Resort

If you're an avid golfer or even a weekend warrior, Pebble is one of those courses on the good ol "Bucket List." After years of talking about it, we played it this past weekend. No, we didn't get a caddie, do yourself a favor and grab a yardage book. Yes the course is challenging, and the greens more so. But somehow, I expected more... Lusher fairways (like you see on TV), fluffier sand in bunkers, etc.

Played on 3/20/2017, and had a GolfMoose voucher. Just down the street from Quail Lodge GC, and it was another beautiful course. Greens rolled very true. However, couple of fairways on the back nine were being worked on. The front 9 is pretty flat, while the back 9 the hills comes into play. Be sure to grab a club sandwich at the clubhouse restaurant, it was delicious. Would definitely play again.

Played on 3/19/2017, and had a GolfMoose voucher. Had a great time, course was in great shape. However, the greens were under going aerification at the time. Would definitely play again if ever in area.

Played on 1/3/2016 AM. Literally out in the middle of nowhere, with a great layout. This is what I like to call resort style golf, wide fairways (where even my big ass slice can still find fairway), hazards yes, but no gullies and target golf, etc. The fairway was still green despite the winter season, must be all the fertilizer provided by the onsite ducks, etc. The greens were a bit slower vs TPC Vegas. POP was great, less than 4 hrs.

Played on 1/2/2016 AM. Fun course with challenging approach and greens. Rather be short than long, if you don't stick it, the ball will roll. Greens were super fast, with fluffy sand bunkers guarding the greens. Fairway was a mix of green and brown grass due to the season. Lots of bird droppings on the 18th hole.

Played in the morning of 10/4/2015, with period showers, and just after the UCLA v ASU game at the Rose Bowl...

Pace of play was great, no one ventures out on a raining day. However, everything else, but the greens were trashed. Thank you, tailgaters. Can't forget the tire treads on the fairway.

I like Brookside, both #1 and #2, but if you can ever avoid it. Don't play after a football game at the Rose Bowl.

Wow, this is one popular course. Played around 1pm on 10/3 and we had to wait every hole. Talk about overbooking, with 2 tournaments on the day. They ran out of carts. It was an UCLA kind of day, myself included.

The greens were nice and rolled fast. Ball couldn't get out of the rough to save my life.
This is a pretty flat course, segmented by trees.

I'm a high handicapper, I play according to my tee box. If you drive 150 yards, why are you playing from the blue?!

Pace of play left me frustrated and wanting to pull my hair out. It was a 6 hour+ round.

Played 6/13/2015. Enjoyable layout with hilly fairways, elevated greens, lateral bunkers and water hazards, etc. If you're playing during the summer and have an early tee time, the green rolled slow in the AM, however as soon as the hot sun comes out, the greens dry up quickly and your ball barely stops.

Finished in 4 hrs.

Played Butterfield Stage on 3/15/2015 and many times before that... You can always find a good deal for Butterfield, as the Chino course is the more popular of the two at El Prado. So thanks to a voucher, we headed out for a day of practice. Our twosome finished in 4 hrs and 50 mins.

Course condition was average and layout is pretty flat. I'd avoid the course during the summer due to flies and smell. It's still there even though the ranch is now gone. Oh oh and don't forget the sound of shots fired from the nearby outdoor gun range.

Played Eagle Glen on 3/22/2015 and had a good time. Course condition was good with fast rolling greens and breaks that you think are there but aren't. Several sands traps throughout the course looks like they were under repair.

However you can see the start of conservation of watering in prep for the summer.
