Another top notch St George golf course. The place was in immaculate condition, except like every golf course we played in this part of the country, there were unrepaired ball marks on every green. Its like no one in Utah or Nevada knows what a divot repair tool looks like. I must have fixed 10 ball marks on every single green I played, all week long. And at The Ledges every green had a little yellow sign on the side saying "please repair ball marks'. Must have went on deaf ears.
Other then this the greens rolled great, and had a lot of undulation making them very tricky. The front 9 at The Ledges is pretty open and playable. The holes are very nice with long par 3s, but no real trouble. After you get past 10 another 200 yard par 3 it heads up into the mountain and the views are amazing. There is a stretch of 5 or 6 great holes including one drivable if you want to take the chance par 4. I laid up with 6 or 7 iron and had wedge in both times. I would highly recommend anyone in the area playing this and Coral Canyon and for under $100 they are IMO good values for the type of course you are playing.

A beautiful golf course just outside of St George Utah. Probably the best we played while out there. Just one good hole after another. The red rock surrounding the course and area just added to the experience.

This is one of the most anticipated rounds of golf I played out in the Mesquite/St George area. All the reviews I read made me expect a version of golf heaven. Although the course was as high up as heaven in spots, it was not all I thought it would be. A few of the holes were a bit to out there for my tastes. Especially the uphill par 3 (the 4th I believe). Not only a tough 180 yard into the wind hole, but a jut of rock between you and the green making a slightly thin hit shot another lost ball. We all were on or just off the green, but IMO, a bit to much. Other then that the scenery was jaw dropping, the elevation changes from tee to fairway unreal. Your ball would stay in the air forever it seemed. The course was more playable then it seemed to be and in excellent condition. The green fees, although not cheap, were certainly fair for the golf course you got to play. I am a 9 shot 87 with a few lost balls and felt like I played pretty well.
