Weather was perfect! Waterfront golf for less than $200?! Yes please! I thought the course closure and re-do was eminent but the GM said within two years but no fixed date. I'm pretty sure that once that happens it's going to be triple the current price to play here. Tee boxes level and at times bushy. Fairways had some issues- bare spots, wet spots, brown spots but were fine to hit from. Rough was thick and juicy and balls will sink into it. A few native areas were cut down and I think it speeds up play tremendously (holes 15 and 17 especially). Sand traps had some issues but played ok. Greens were rolling good but not as fast and brutal as the last time I played here in November. My first question to them was the status of the course and whether or not it was going to be torn down. Good news! Development has been postponed for now. I was so happy! I enjoy this course more every time I play it. Tee boxes were ok, some not so level spots here and there from the combo tees. Fairways had some thin spots but good for the most part. Bunkers... stay out of them, its a crap shoot with the lies that you get in them. A couple of traps they just gave up and filled them in. Greens rolled well and had a few bumps towards the afternoon. I'm just glad I will be able to enjoy this fun and wonderful course a few more times before it's gone. » Close
