Occasionally you fall behind... » MoreI play the Mountain 9 course almost weekly. Generally it's a good pace and can walk it anywhere between 1hr30 and 2hrs. Occasionally you fall behind a school tourny and then it will be 3hrs. If you see this ask the pro shop if you can just jump on River or Pine.
The course is generally always in good shape. Depending on the tee box marker location, it can be nice and flat or badly sloped. Fairways have good coverage and play fine. Rough is always an issue here as it can get cut to 2" or 6" right next to it. Bunkers are fine and the greens are actually pretty nice. Tee boxes were good, fairways had some patchy grass and some areas super firm, greens rolled fine but were super slow.
