De Bell is a great course for the money. I never shoot my best here, but I never regret playing here either. I walked on Sun. for $25. They've really got the course in great shape. It's not quite as challenging as some of the other LA muni courses, but it is by far in the best condition. I highly recommend this course to players of all levels...play smart!

A good course, that is recovering from aeration done 2 weeks ago. Some tee boxes have portions roped off for repair, but the boxes are large enough where it doesn't really effect anything.

This place has got to be the best kept secret around. Greens were punched a couple of weeks ago but are coming back nicely...give it another 10 days but getting to them is the problem! A short, well designed target course. If you are not "on" bring a couple of sleeves...trouble everywhere! A great place to play and a real change of pace for the gripitandripit crowd.

In my opinion this is one of the most penalizing short courses around. While its only 5800 yards or so don't let that fool you. 16 of the 18 holes have trouble on both sides in the form of OB, or a barranca, played as a lateral hazard. The other 2 holes only have trouble on one side! It really is more of a target golf course. You don't need distance on any hole except the 1st. Although 3 of the 5 Par 3s are over 200 yards. If you are not hitting it straight you will find yourself shooting horrible scores.

The course is in very good condition right now. Greens are running nice a quick. The rough is some spots is 4-6" long. Probably getting ready for the city championship.

Its a shame this course is rated so low by the USGA, with only a 114 slope and a 68.1 rating. The course plays much more difficult that the numbers would suggest!

This is a great course with a view of the city of Burbank and the downtown L.A. skyline. Just above the course is the Castaway Restaurant. A great place to go for the 19th hole....

I played last month (May) and the fairways and greens were awesome ! DeBell has an excellent scenery of the canyons and mountains. Pine trees are lined along the fairways and the view is just spectacular. Playing time is about 4 and a half hours and the staff are very courteous and accomodating.

It has a nice clubhouse/restaurant and the food are reasonable.

With a beautiful scenic and challenging course, DeBell is a "must play" course in the valley.
