Got out midday and the course was WIDE open! Overall the course is in darn nice condition. I haven't played here since December of last year, and I was most impressed with the fact that I saw maintenance crews out working on the course while I was out there and they were actually MAINTAINING the course!! Players are using the divot sand to replace divots on the tee and the greens had a "normal" amount of balls marks for a course that usually gets a fair amount of traffic. The #1 thing I like about playing here is that the greens are "postage stamp" size and the length from tee to green is short and usually between clubs, forcing you to make adjustments in the swing to reach the pin without hitting short or long. On several holes there is no room of you hit long or you're ball is in the woods or the creek that lines the course. The greens were in nice shape and the traps have plenty of sand to hit out of. It all adds up to a great place to practice your short game. It will never be confused with Pebble Beach, but it's not intended to be. Most of the time, you can play this course for the price of a bucket of range balls. A lot of fun if you have 1 hour or so to kill and want to hit a few!

This course is about a mile from my house and I've played it a few times in the past month mostly because the green fees are cheapest in the area. Some areas need some serious maintenance and if you play on a busy day or at a busy time be ready to be waiting at most of the tees. Basically if want to save some cash and don’t mind playing a short, slow par 3 this isn’t a bad place to play.

Played 11/25 and the greens are in fantastic shape with consistent speed and feel. Great nine hole facility for for $10 on Golf Now when available.

When I need some work on my short game, this is the perfect place to do it! A practice facility and a nine hole course all in a very compact area. Six of the 9 holes on the course are under 100 yards with only 2 over 200. (You could easily play this course with three or four clubs in your bag!) Some of the greens are postage stamp size and it does force you to make an accurate shot from the tees. Overall they keep the course in nice condition. I find it a great way to work on pitches and chips. The ninth hole is 270 yards dog leg left and a creek guards the front of the green. 200 hundred to the creek and a short pitch over the creek and your on the dance floor. That said, I've found a bunch of balls that end up in the creek!! All the greens are very servicable albeit a bit on the slow side and very soft. I like the practice area which has a good sized putting green and chipping area with sand bunkers. The folks in the pro shop are ALWAYS nice and the driving range is passable with both mats and turf to hit from, (especially for an American Golf property.) I like the video set up on the far left tee of the matted driving range. It has a set up where you can plug in a thumb drive, play about $40 and it will record your swing for about 20 minutes (I think.) Pretty cool stuff! The software is free on-line to view your recording and I've heard a few of the guys say they like using it to see where they are with thier swings. I try to get by there about twice a month. You can knock out nine holes easy in an hour and practice other aspects of your game with plenty of time to get home for dinner!

This is a nice little short course to practice your short game. It's also great for beginners like myself who have yet to master the long ball. It has enough bunkers and water hazards to keep things interesting. Playing and walking this course early in the morning is a great way to get your day started.

A great small (approx. 2000 yards) course for beginners. I took my 13 year old son out there for his first two rounds of golf this past Christmas weekend. A good challenging course for beginner through advanced levels - tests many different skill sets. Although a very short course, there are plenty of hazards to watch out for (holes 2, 5, 7 and 9 - ponds, sand traps and a gully). A good place to work on your short game; control, distance, etc. We paid $16 (each) to play on Sunday and $8 (each) to play on Monday. You can't beat the value. They have a good sized practice area (large putting green and several pitching areas - with and without sand traps).
