WOW!! Eagle Glen is back !!! The good,, $45 senior rate, other rates are discounted, reason? good business,, Triligy is in terrific shape, Dos Lagos is open. Its called competition. It seems to be working,, was advised Eagle Glen had 200 golfers today. I would think good pricing, terrific conditions and upscale atmosphere would make sense to all but some. Greens are lush and fast when faced with downhill putts, most putts were downhill today, lots of three putts today. Thats OK as we just couldnt, wouldnt believe what we saw. Next time it will be different. No sand on greens. Fairways are almost perfect, a couple areas were under repair, but 99% were some of the best fairways we have seen this year. As for the bunkers and complaints, this place is in the National forest area, it gets windy, soooo they let some bunkers that are not protected get a little hardpan, some are soft and regular. I ALWAYS go into a bunker with the 56 and 60 degree. If its hardpan I use the 60. Not a big deal, its golf. The drink girl was around maybe 5 times. Eagle Glen is kinda upscale, we saw what appeared a lot of customer golf, bad for us right in front of us,, but wasnt tooo bad and the marshal kinda moved them along without causing trouble. The scenery here is only matched by Cross Creek in Temecula, no houses to speak of and hills and canyons,, very nice. It was a perfect day for golf on a VERY nice track and we will not wait so long to return.

Played for the first time on 3-11. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Weather was perfect and the course was in great shape. The majority of fairways were like plush carpet and greens were smooth, true and running about 10. The only drawback was the sand traps. Some were fluffy with deep sand and some were like hardpan. I was assured by the staff they were attending to the matter. Senior rate was $45.00 with cart and advanced GPS. All in all this is a great venue and I will be back to play.

First time playing here and loved the course! Absolutely great views and awesome layout . The greens were smooth and the roll was true. We couldn't of asked for more perfect weather. This is a must play if you get a chance.. The GM is a down to earth people person and really cares about the input from his patrons... My golfing buddy lives in Corona now so I will be visiting that area more often...

I would just like to take a moment and continue to thank all of you for your continued play and the responses you provide. We here at the course take your experience very seriously and review the site here daily. We have found it to be very valuable in our day-to-day measurement of the course, staff, and overall playing conditions.

We are working very hard on improving the property. We think our fairways are very nice and provide an excellent base from which to hit from. Our greens are firm and we work on them regularly. We just completed some verticutting and top dressing to improve the evenness of the green and improve the roll. Yes, it is true that the greens will be slower during this, but the end result is an excellent green with great rolling characteristics. We will continue this all through the season to ensure the best possible putting conditions for you.

We are working very hard on repairing our bunkers. The easy answer is that we have to dig up all of them and redo the drainage system properly. This is a very expensive and time-consuming endeavor. We will aim to do this next year. Until then, we are tilling each bunker by hand. This will improve the quality and consistently of the sand. There is a lot of sand in the bunkers; it has just been compacted over the years. The tilling will allow for some greatly improved conditions. In addition, we will amend the sand as needed once we complete the detailing. We will continue this process every 60 days or so to keep the conditions very playable.

We will also begin resodding much of the rough areas come May. Once the temperature warms up, we are going to transition to 100% Bermuda through all of the rough. This will provide great conditions and improved cosmetics. We continue to improve the other transition areas with mulch and just completed a total re-sodding of the 10th tee.

Finally, we restructured our rates to simply provide the best golf experience possible and an incredible value. No other reason that it is the right thing to do and we hope you take advantage of our value oriented pricing structure. I think you will find us a terrific facility and a superb value.

Pace of Play is a huge area of focus for us. We have added GPS and extra Marshals to ensure the quickest pace possible. We use at least three Marshals in key areas each busy day along with Starters and First Tee assistants. We are doing everything possible to keep pace tolerable. You can help us by playing ready golf and hitting from the proper tee. Every course shares this issue and it is not easy to accommodate everyone.

Something's fishy! I played Eagle Glen about two weeks ago and the conditions were sketchy at best. The greens were sandy and very slow, the bunkers were like hardpan. I think this place is hurting because they are discounting tee times left and right. It does have the potential to be a nice course,but right now the condition needs to improve.

You can check it out for yourself...I've run hot and cold with my reviews of the course and service at Eagle Glen in the past. I have been playing there since the days when it first opened (back in the "Troon Golf" days) - - when the teeing grounds were so rock-hard you could barely get a tee in the ground...and when the greens were like slate... and wouldn't even hold a soft wedge...

But today marks the day where I have noting negative to say about the conditions at Eagle Glen!! The fairways were luch and very green, the greens seemed to hold all shots well...they rolled true and were pretty quick...but not overly fast. Good greens...the kind that make you want to stay below the hole, that's for certain!

Great progress has been made with the sand in the bunkers. (I just wish that the sand in the greenside bunker on #18 was not so white and fluffy...it almost cost me the match! But that's MY problem...not theirs!!)

All of the staff makes you feel special. They were juggling two big tournaments, all the early-birds (like us...we were off at 6:52 A.M....right on our assigned time..and finished in 4.0 hours!) - and the desk staff and the starter (and the marshall and the cart-girls and the bartender...)

The only negative I have to note: (and, again...this has nothing to do with the staff or greenskeepers at E.G.) was the number of unrepaired ball-marks on #4 - the par-three over the canyon. Comed ON!! People!! If you're good enough to hit the green from 187-yards...then you should have enough golf-sense to FIX YOUR BLOODY BALL MARK!!! Between my buddy and I, we fixed TWENTY MOON-CRATERS just between our cart and the hole!!

Keep Eagle Glen nice!! It's becoming one of the best values in So. Cal. golf!!

The course condition is better then most other courses in this price range. I would definitely play here again.

This course is beautiful with a great staff. Price can be lowered, but it is reasonable for a course like this. Great place to have fun!

played today for the first time. very friendly staff absolutely no complaints. the tee boxes were all in good condition. the fairways were awesome. the sand seemed to be giving the guys in my group trouble...i managed to avoid it so i cant say. the greens were in good condition, a little slow. there are some nice views. i thought it was a very nice course and i will definitely play it again.
