Made the flight from Dallas to Vegas to meet up with fellow GKers and play some golf for the weekend. First stop was Reflection Bay. Obviously a highly regarded course in the area. Not cheap, but then again what is in vegas? Customer service was top shelf! the team really took care of our motley crew. warm up area - disappointing as there is just a warm up net to hit into, that wouldn't be all that bad IF you could tee up and hit driver. Course-wise...Love the layout and the challenge. Great mixture and change of pace on the holes. Sand/FW/Rough were all excellent....the issue was with the greens....now honestly, they rolled just fine, but there was some fungus or something along the collars and it really just messed up the cosmetics. I would still recommend the course but keep your idea of value a bit lower as it is Las Vegas.

Beautiful course to play. Staff top notch at every turn. I was out on my own this morning finishing in under three hours. The tee boxes are all great with only one I remember being slightly sloped. The fairways were in excellent shape with complete coverage and not any bad lies. The rough was a few inches long but shots can be made without much of an issue. The traps had great sand but some were a little damp. The greens were all easily read but had many many unrepaired ballmarks ??. The scenery was great and rates reasonable. I was told by the staff that they will be shutting down in a week for overseeing and reopening in a month. Definitely worth the drive and highly recommended!!

Played on Friday, 8/9 with famed02 for his birthday, joined by his son andy.drew621 and his buddy Barney. Gorgeous morning, 80* at 6:40, warmed up a bit during the round and finished in about 4:20. This is easily in my Top 3 of Vegas courses. It has never disappointed. Conditions were excellent for late summer. Level tee boxes. Lush, carpet like fairways with a couple GUR areas, but overall fantastic shape. Rough was 2-3 inches, just enough to make you think. What surprised me the most is the bunker conditions. For the amount of wind they get through the canyons, sand was perfect, a medium heaviness that was easy to hit from and plenty of sand in the bunkers. I was warned by kevbig at check in the greens were running slow, but I still found them a decent medium speed. There were some little ant holes on a few holes, but if they were on your line, a little swipe of the foot leveled them. Great customer service, good food, and a fantastic beer selection. Carts have GPS (to the center) along with USB and ultra comfortable seats. I love the layout and design of the course, with a nice mix of risk/reward and long/short holes. Greens are not your typical Nicklaus multi-tier design, but he does make you pay if you miss them.Definitely a must play in Vegas.

A little late with this review. Played Reflection Bay for the first time on June 30th with the GK crew and I must say, all my expectations were met. Had a blast with Bill, Kathy and Wendy, can't wait to join them again sometime. As all the other reviews mentioned customer service was excellent. Everybody was happy to assist.
I found the course in great shape, and I saw a lot of it. Always had good lies in the fairways and the rough was not as penal as it could be, but it was in great shape and made one think about how to play out of it. The greens rolled very well and the grain did come into play making some putts a little slower and others fast. Was very fun to putt on. The sand was the best I have played in awhile, even though my play didn't show it.
I highly recommend this course when in the Vegas area, a really fun course, and is a course that needs to be played a few time to get used to its nuances.
Being a GK event made the day all that much better.

I played in the GK outing on 6-30-19 with Bill, Kathy and Greg. This was my second time at Reflection Bay. I was very excited to have a chance to play here again. We enjoyed a nice pre-round breakfast in the restaurant and then headed out to the tee.

The course conditions were as impressive as last time. Everything from tee to green was in great shape. The fairways and rough were lush and well trimmed. I really liked the sand in the few bunkers I was in- soft and very easy to hit out of. Having a bit of course knowledge was helpful on a couple of holes where balls just want to keep on rolling off the green into the water. There is a good variety of holes with some elevation changes and even the par 3s were surprisingly challenging.

I had a great time and look forward to playing again. Highly recommended.

Joined the Gk community for the event on the 30th. Course is still in fantastic shape even after two weeks of 100°+ heat from the last time out. Course was lush and mostly green from Tee to Green. I must say the staff here is amazing and is very friendly. The entire event went smooth and it seemed that everyone had a blast.

I dont have a ton to add to the rest of the reviews. Tee's were great and had ample space to choose from. Fairways lush and rolling well. Greens soft and rolled real nice. I believe hole 7 has a little GUR near the green but it does not affect you much. Sand is fantastic now that they have replenished all of the green side bunkers.

This course is a must play when in vegas and IMO the most fun of all of the courses.

I had the privilege of playing with Rob1563, John A, and my son Mpisarski01 in the GK event. We had a great time playing together for the second time in 3 days. Reflection Bay is one of my favorites and did not disappoint. The course is in fantastic shape with lush green fairways and greens. The views of Lake Las Vegas are incredible. The tee boxes were level with plenty of fresh turf to hit from. I found my way into several bunkers with soft white sand. When I did hit the fairways they were cut short and I never hit into someone’s divot. I had some trouble reading the greens on my many long putts. They were smooth and true if read correctly. All in all I cannot wait to play again at Reflection Bay Golf Club and highly recommend it to anyone spending time Las Vegas. I would like to thank the staff for providing such a fine golf experience.

Had a great time playing in the GK outing.

The short version: the conditions throughout the course were very good to excellent in all facets.

The long(er) version: arrived a little early to check out the course and facilities. The clubhouse and restaurant were both very nice. Made my way over to the putting green near the first tee and it was rolling very nice. There was a bit of rain in the hour leading up to our tee time so it wasn’t all that quick, but the speed on the greens steadily picked up throughout the day. The rain softened up the greens a bit which made them very receptive to shots with most clubs and were rolling true.

The tee boxes and fairways were excellent to hit from. We ran into a few soggy areas in the fairways but with the unexpected rain it’s not a surprise.

The rough wasn’t terribly thick but it was a challenge to advance the ball with linger clubs and made club selection crucial from the rough.

I didn’t find myself in any bunkers so I can’t comment from personal play but my playing partners all said they were well stocked and after they dried a bit from the rain were very nice to hit from.

Overall the course provided a lot of variety in holes and stunning views both on and away from the water holes. As always had a great time with the GK crew and looking forward to my next outing and trip to RB.

Played 6-30-19 in a GK outing with John, Rob, and Jerry teeing off mid morning and finishing in about 4 1/2 hours. Tee boxes were in good shape, nice coverage and level. Fairways were very nice with lush lies and decent roll out. Rough was in good shape, not to long and fairly easy to hit from. Was in one greenside bunker on 18 that was in good shape with a nice layer of sand. Greens were in really good condition, rolling smooth at a medium/slow speed and holding shots very nicely. This is a very fun course to play with some elevation changes and some good holes along the lake. It has a good variety of holes to keep you interested throughout your round. Overall conditions of the course were really good for early summer and definitely worth getting out and playing.
