What a treat that was for all of us and especially me. Love seeing you all enjoy yourselves.

Golf course was in excellent conditions. As overall green and lush as I’ve ever played it. Bunker all groomed with high quality sand. Tee boxes lush and great shape. Rough challenging, lush and tough. That bermunda grass is only going to get longer as the heat picks up so it puts a tremendous price on accuracy from tee to green. Greens running smooth, holding shots and medium speed. When you have bent grass greens like they do you have to keep them a little long in the summer.

The more I play this layout, the more I like it. Most of the time I’ve played it from the black tees, this time from the white tees and it’s so cool how different it plays from the tee boxes as such. Big premium on tee shot accuracy. I was hitting fantastic long accurate tee shots on the front nine and shot 1 over (I don’t keep score but hard not to know it when you are playing that well). Back nine my driver got little loose and played around bogey golf. That's quick this golf course can hook you up or bite you. Beautiful green complexes and scenery. On last thing. The service and amenities are stellar. If you ever want to do an outing in Vegas better consider Reflection Bay Golf Club. Just love this place.

Enjoyed another great day @ Reflection Bay today. We were fortunate in the early part of the day to have cloud cover to keep the temp enjoyable.
The course itself was in really good shape overall. Minor aeration areas, but they didn’t really affect play. Greens were in great shape. Sand is very playable. There's a great mixture of fairway widths and the course is not the stereo-typical ‘resort course’. It’s by no means easy, but it’s not punishing either - if you ‘know your own strength’ ;).
Reflection Bay is a very eye- pleasing stroll and the staff there are top notch and great with customer service. This is becoming one of our necessary stops whenever we are in the Vegas area!
Give it a try! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!!

I would say the greens are rolling 5 out of 10 for speed but definitely about an 8 out of 10 as far as smoothness is concerned. I saw a couple of bumpy rolls on a few holes today that annoyed me but the course as a whole is in fantastic condition. Get out and play while you can because this is one of my favorite courses in town.

Enjoyed an Awesome day out at reflection bay 5/31. GK reviews showed that the conditions were awesome lately so we decided to head out and play. We tee’d off early and only a fast foursome was in front of us. We very rarely saw them and nobody behind made for an enjoyable pace of 3:45.

As for course conditions RB is still in amazing shape. From tee to green the course is still in immaculate shape. Tee boxes has full coverage and lots of space to choose from. Fairways very lush with only one brown spot that I could remember. It was cut Nicely and provided decent roll. Greens were firm and glassy, they did hold well struck shots but made you think hard about all putts. Rough is also lush and just long enough to penalize bad contact. Sand is currently being replenished on a few holes bust was mostly good.

Overall this is a wonderful course that has no two holes alike. I can’t wait to come back for GK plays at the end of the month.

Played 4-26-19. This was the first of a three-round weekend with Gkr’s wsbell57, colmcd, and iluv2golflady. It was the first time for all of us to play Reflection Bay. We were very excited to play after reading so many great GK reviews. Our first impression when we drove by it was just “WOW.” The fairways that we could see from the street were a stunning shade of emerald green and we knew right then that we were in for a huge treat. The clubhouse is a beautiful building with spectacular views of the bay. It was a good thing we arrived early because we took so many photos before we even got onto the golf course! We had a nice lunch in the restaurant and then a quick visit with Gkr kevbig before heading out to play. The course conditions I can describe very simply- they are as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen from tee to green. The fairways are lush without a spot of brown anywhere. The tee boxes are tightly trimmed and level. The bunkers are sparkling white and the greens smooth and rolled medium fast. The course is as tough, though, as it is beautiful. I didn't play well and it beat me up pretty badly ...I just can’t wait to give it another try!

Date 4/5 Time - 1030 Temp 75° w/ 15-20 mph winds Decided to play reflection on Friday when we got in town. I knew before hand that the greens were punched but the greens didn't bother me at all. They still rolled true and I only had one or two putts jump on me. The staff did a great job filling the holes with sand and they were out on the course dragging carpets on the greens after us. The grounds crew here does a fantastic job with this challenging layout. They finally got the new carts with GPS and they are very comfortable and the GPS is a nice addition. Overall the course was in amazing shape fairways were a 9/10 with the exception of one on the back nine where they were relaying grass. Rough 9/10 is mostly out of its dormancy and starting to get very penal I had a few shots get stuck in the rough which normally is a good thing unless you want a bounce towards a green, that was not happening today. Tee 9/10 were great, they have a few sets to choose from and only the par 3's had some divots. Sand 5/10 is the next thing they will need to focus on at RB. I was in about 5 traps and all except one were firm. Personally I like them more firm than most but these were borderline bad. I did find one trap on 8 that my ball absolutely plugged into the face. Overall this course is a must play.

Played on Thursday, 3/14, with JohnnyGK, kevbig, and phunteratc, what a fun fantastic group.

I arrived early to grab a bite before our start. The bag drop is always staffed and they had my clubs set up on our cart and ready to go. It was busy in the bar/grill, but service was fast, friendly, and my street tacos were pretty tasty. They also have wide variety of beer on draft and in cans for on the course. Drink cart was around often before last call at 3:30. Reflection Bay recently upgraded to new carts, with some super comfy seats and a new GPS system. The tablet size display shows an overview, and touchscreen to see distances to hazards. It also shows other carts on the hole, for the few blind shots.

Course was in great condition. Green from tee to green, with no dirt areas. Fairways were lush, firm, and running out in the dry afternoon breeze. Rough was about 1-2 inches up. Greens were fantastic, with a light top dressing that did not affect roll. They were fast and firm, playing to the front of the green yardage was usually the play.

Overall, a true Vegas resort experience from start to finish. The course is easily in my top 3 of Vegas area courses, I love it more each time I play. A must play in the area.

This was round two today. I played Paiute Snow course in the morning in much different weather conditions. So when I arrived for my afternoon tee time it was a joy to see the southend of the valley was warm and calm winds.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with fellow GKer’s JohnnyGK, Rob1563, and Kevbig. What a great group of guys. It wouldn’t have mattered what the condition of the course was in or how I played in determining my enjoyment level, because these guys were so much fun.

That being said, I was fortunate enough to also have great course conditions and had my best putting day EVER. Read JohnnyGK’s review of this round for details. I will stick to reviewing the course, which was phenominal!

Started off by having a classic dog in the reasturant with house chips. It was very good. The staff was excellent from bag drop to beverage cart. These people are very happy with their jobs and are intent on making your day a great experience based on my interaction with them.

The course was in excellent condition, I have no negative comments to share. Everything was in the kind of condition that you would expect from a course of this caliber entering into high season for Vegas golf.

Tee boxes-Great!

Fairways were lush and beautiful.

Rough was about an inch or so in length and were lush with no bare spots.

The bunkers seemed to have ball magnets in them but they were fair. A little firm for my liking but consistant.

The greens were excellent. This part of my review is slightly biased as I had that rare privledge of marking my ball and having the line visually present itself to me. I had the best putting day of my 50 years of golf. The conditions of the greens were just magical. JohnnyGK is a little more knowledgeable about this then I am, (So read his review) but there was a top dressing of something that made the greens smooth and roll so true. 10 one putts, with at least 5 of 30’ plus. It was an out of body experience.

The beverage cart came by about every 2-3 holes until she called it a day after hole 11. She was very pleasant as well.

This was a great day, on a wonderful course, with fantastic company. But since the review is focused on the course, I will end with this. Reflection Bay is a top notch golf experience and it is obvious that the management is focused on your golf experience being exceptional. If you havent been out here in since January 2018, you will find that the nines have been flipped. It is a great layout and a wonderful test of your game, while being fair and enjoyable.

I highly recommend Reflection Bay Golf Club.

Played Reflection Bay Thursday with kevbig, rob1563 and phunteratc (#philonfire).
Before I jump in to describing the course, I’ve been playing golf for 35 years and can not recall watching someone make so many long bomb putts in one day. And Phil not only made the long ones, he made most of the mid to short range putts too. He will now forever be known to me as Phil On Fire – LOL

The golf course was in beautiful condition. The greens had a dusting of a top dressing that I believe made already smooth greens smoother. They rolled pure. The fairways were lush, firm and cut tight. The Rough is mostly dormant bermunda but more green than when I played back in December here. Tee boxes lush and well maintained. Bunkers mostly firm sand but kept in great shape. Overall excellent!

The layout is fantastic. It’s a Top-20 all-time course for me that I enjoy more and more with every play. This was my third round. You need to be accurate off the tee because there is a lot of trouble out there. Difficult fairway bunkers, lots of desert hazards, some water hazards and forced carries. Iron play needs to be equally spot on due to well protected greens with bunkers and hazards. On the greens, about as tame of a Nicklaus design I’ve ever played (thank you) but not easy by any means. Around the greens, some of Jack’s wonderful false fronts and doomed if you miss the green short side but not as brutal as many of his other layouts I’ve played. Golf course is very scenic (please check out the photos I took) and visually stunning at times.

Service is top-notch. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. We must have seen the on course service 5 times. Proshop staff, food service and outside services spot on. They make you feel special here.
