I am happily married to a wife that supports my golf habit and who also enjoys our weekend travels that includes golf for me and crafting for her. I have two sons, who both play and I very much enjoy their company on the course when we can work out our schedules. I'm looking forward to my two grandchildren to start playing - they just received their first personal set of clubs.
I enjoy both casual and competitive golf.
I have found that I most appreciate course layouts that require the player to think about shot placement off the tee, rather than just the whale-away approach; I guess this is probably because I am usually only 200 - 230 yards off the tee. I have a pretty good short game, but can't seem to drop those birddie putts.
