Played for the first time in many years today. Course was in great shape. Staff is top notch. Pace 4.5 hours on a Saturday.
The only issues:
Sand. Soaking wet, packed and raked leaving big ridges. Almost impossible to judge what is going to happen when you hit out of it.
Pitch marks on the green. Come on people, it just takes a second to fix 1 or 2 marks. I was fixing 5+ pitch marks on every hole all day long. Same for fairway divots. I get that there are lots of walkers, but grab and carry a bottle of sand if you are walking and use it. For cart folks, there are 2 bottles on the cart.
All in all, it was a lot of fun and I will be back again.
