I have been driving up the mountain every October to play this tucked away 9-hole for the past four years and happy to say the course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Main improvements I have noticed are the greens, especially on hole 8. All the greens are well maintained from end to end and reminiscent of country club greens with heavy slope and the fastest I have ever played them (12 or 13 on the stimp??). With that though the greens would not hold any approach shots. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape overall with good coverage. Rough was not too thick and not punishing for the most part.
Another thing worth mentioning is their practice facilities, with the only downside is having to take a small detour away from the course to access it. They have a decent size chipping green, bunker area, and big putting green with about 7 different flags. All of it was well maintained. I recommend taking advantage of it before your round. Driving range was matts only, nothing too special apart from having a nice background.
Although this is only a 9-hole course it offers an overall fun layout with certain features on holes that make it challenging. I can see how management/staff is putting in the effort to make this golf course really shine and worth playing. They are only open from May to late October each year, so if you can get out before they close you won't regret it. If not check them out next season. Weather was amazing too at mid 70's. Also a great walk if you are able.
