Been playing golf for over 45 years. Use to have a single digit handicap but age and lack of distance off the tee have caught up to me. I don't play a lot of local courses but I try to go on 3 or 4 day mini golf vacations.

It is hard to give this course a low rating but they were closed for a few days earlier to aerate the greens and punch the fairways. The course winds through lava rocks pretty much on every single hole. I did receive a discount on the golf because of the conditions. » Close Played Sat May 31st. Course is in fair condition. It seems like they punched the fairways recently. The greens are in a summer transition. They were bumpy at times and putted slow. Tee boxes were good and so were the sand traps. I like this course because of the elevation change, especially on some of the par threes » Close Played Friday and the course is in very good condition. Fairways are in good condition with a few spots that were overwatered. Greens very good I wasn’t I any bunkers but they looked good. Tee boxes were very good. What I liked best about the tee boxes were marked by Roman numerals. Only downside now is I had to book a two night stay to play golf. Tee boxes excellent and the fairways very good. The San traps have a very good amount of sand in them. The greens looked like they had been punched a few weeks ago. You could still see some of the holes on a few greens and they did have a small amount of sand on them. I think they putted a little slow. My biggest disappointment was there was no gps on the carts. There was no yardage on the sprinkler heads. The only yardage they have is blocks in the fairway 200 150 100. Yards. It seems that a fairly new course would have the technology to add it to the course. Bring your rangefinder » Close
