Played here after the PGA tournament, with a quick 1 night stay at the resort so rate was 275. Overall, I echo the comments of all the people earlier in the year. Fairways and greens were in great condition and they seemed to have fixed the divots that I'm sure the pros would have left. Putts are quick and rolled true. The bunkers had a ton of fluffy sand for most of them, so it can be hard to play if you're used to munis. Our mandatory forecaddie was okay. I got lucky and the weather was perfect with no wind and mild temperatures but heard that it can get windy at times. The course can be kind of narrow in the sense that if you barely miss the fairway and hit it in the lava rocks that surround the fairway, then it's random whether it bounces back or you lose your ball, so it's super easy to have a ton of lost balls. I like the conditions and layout of the course overall. But the pace of play is absolutely brutal. They're completely full on the tee sheet and the caddie said that most rounds all day are 5+ hours for however long he's worked there. My guess is from lots of lost balls and also they have a couple of very very short drivable par 4s so everyone has to wait for the group in front to clear out before teeing off. The unlimited free food/drinks/snacks are quite nice. Includes tacos/meat bowls/chips/powerade/etc. (No free alcohol but beers seemed to be on sale.) I do plan to go back because the course is great, but that pace of play likely won't resolve itself because it's an intrinsic course issue. They just started construction on a ton of houses by the course so in the future, the holes will be lined with houses instead of the current great scenery of just the surrounding mountains. Most of the players seemed to be local Utah residents and once the houses fill up (they already pre-sold most of them according to the broker), likely a lot of them will become members who will take up the tee sheet, turning it in something like Entrada long-term where it would cater more to members than the general public.
