Tee boxes were in decent shape, mostly level with some divot damage on par threes, manly #3. Fairways were in nice shape with some thin and bare spots here and there, but mostly provided good lies with decent roll out. Rough was in good condition, 2-3 inches and thick around greens and a little shorter along fairways with a few longer areas. Was in one greenside bunker that had a good layer of heavy brown sand. Greens were in great shape, soft and receptive, rolling medium/fast and smooth. Overall course is very green and in nice shape. » Close Played 12-15-20 first out in the fog as a walking single, finishing in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Most of the course is dormant, the only green you are going to see is on the greens and in the bushes. Tee boxes were in good condition, level stances and minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways have tight lies with good padding for iron shoots and a lot of roll out. Rough is maybe an inch longer than fairways and in the same condition. 10 to 15 feet off the fairways and you are into the thick brush and bushes. Was not in any bunkers, they looked thin but well maintained. Greens were in very nice shape, rolling medium speed and smooth. They are on the soft side so holding shots like darts. I really like playing this course in the condition it is in right now. Fun to play a links course in links conditions, gives you so many options on how to play a hole. Highly recommend playing here. » Close Classic Club Palm Desert, CAReviewed by: rgm2525, chatsworth Played 12-14-20 afternoon with John, Kevin, and Nick getting around the course in about 4 hours with no waiting. Tee boxes were in nice shape, level, lush and minor divot damage on par 3s. Fairways were mostly lush with some minor thin areas, they provided nice lies with decent roll out. Rough was in good shape not to long a fairly easy to hit from. Was not in any bunkers but they looked very nice and well groomed. Greens were medium/fast semi-firm and rolling smooth, a few of them had some minor blemishes that did not effect roll. Nice challenging course with wide fairways, deep bunkers and big greens. » Close Played 12-14-20 with Rob, John, and Alex first out after about a 20 minute frost delay and finishing in a little under 4 hours. Tee boxes were lush. level and in real nice condition. Fairways were green and lush with nice lies and decent roll out. Rough was in good shape, not to long and lush. Was in one greenside bunker that had a good layer of well groomed sand. Greens were running medium pace, smooth and semi-soft. Very scenic course with a fun layout that's not to difficult. » Close Played 12-13-20 late morning with Alex, Kevin, and Bob finishing in about 4 1/2 hours with some waiting. Tee boxes were in nice shape, good coverage and level with minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways for they most part were nice and lush with good lies, but there were a few bare and thin spots mixed in. Rough was nice around greens and along fairways, 2-3 inches and very lush. Was in one greenside bunker that good quality thick sand, and nice to hit from. Greens were smooth, semi-firm and rolling medium/fast pace. Fun track that is still in really good shape even with the minor blemishes. » Close
