"We played both Butterfield and Chino Creek yesterday (3/24). These courses are a little rough around the edges, but are a great value for the money. Greens were in great shape, but very slow. VERY SLOW. Fairways were lush as they aggressively overseeded this year. Bunkers are mostly in bad shape; there's even a local rule that you can remove rocks from the bunkers. The rough was brutal!!! We each lost at least two balls each in the rough. The rough is what makes these two courses tough right now. Keep it in the fairway."
