Good Course, greens were in great shape. I couldnt make a putt outside of 5 feet, but good greens. Island green was amazing 220 yrd par 3 hole. Shot 79.

Played Sat 7/24. Nice old track with plenty of trees for shade. Tight fairways - generally good greens and lots of fun to play. As others have said the 15th is a great par 3. Clubhouse is a bit dated but the food and service were great and the price was fair. Cart girls around all day long and water was available on several holes. A very nice track worth playing.

This is probably the oldest quality course in the Reno/Sparks area. Though Reno is at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountians, the area is desert. This course uses the desert as the rough. The fairways are most often short grass and firm. The rough is sagebrush and dirt, so sometimes you can hit from the rough, but if you're in or under the sagebrush pick it up. Watch for snakes! The fairways are wide enough and firm, this makes a good drive GREAT! The greens are usually on the firm side, but still playable. The course is fun and challenging. Finally, number 15 makes the whole thing worth while. From the 15th tee box you can see a 270 degree panaroma of the Reno/Sparks area. The hole is an island par 3 from an elevated tee box, about a 70 foot drop to the green, bring your cameras. Good Luck!
