Dublin Ranch is a little jewel among lots of competition in the East Bay. The operative word is 'little' as it isn't a par 3 executive course, nor is it a full par 70 course. It is a "tweener" that will challenge your short game for the entire round.

The conditions (greens, fairways, tee boxes, traps, carts, clubhouse, etc.) are fantastic! Pricing includes carts and complimentary bottles of water.

The course plays much like The Bridges at Gayle Ranch as it is built on similar topography. Level lies are a luxury and fairways are generally narrow and sloped. There are VERY few trees, so bring sunblock when it is hot, and be prepared for an afternoon wind.

Dublin Ranch also runs an active email marketing campaign, so discounted rounds abound. Pace of play is good since the course is short.

It's great to see that managment listened, analysed, and reacted and did something about it by extending the track. Though all the cards still reflect the short numbers, by going to the tips really made the track challenging and fun too play! Congrates!

This is the TRI-VALLEY gem. On paper, it appears like an executive course, but in reality it is a excellent test of all irons, woods, and the putter for greens always run fast, true, undulated and lush.
Par 3's, 11, range from 130yds - 240yds, uphill, downhill, bunkered, and wind influenced. Par 4's, 5, range from 350yds - 440yds with fairway bunkers, heavy/long fescue rough, uphill or downhill. Par 5's, 2, both over 500yds with doglegs, split fairway, uphill/downhill. You had better bring game and pay attention or you will be cussing the course and yourself. All most golfers need.

Played early AM so I could get to the A's game by noon. First time here so was not sure what to expect. Upon arival, as a single, pro shop gentleman advised that two foursomes just went out in front of me and asked if I wanted to start on 10. Course conditions are perfect, very lush from tee to green, not a brown spot in sight. Finished the back nine in about 1.5 hours due to no one, and I mean no one around. Only saw one twosome on the front and finished the round in under 3 hrs. It is a fairly short course , par 63 but its still challenging and very fun. Only gripe was the greens were very slow, but very true. Had a great time here, will be back when I visit the mother in law again. she's not that bad plus she can cook so it might not be that long.

This course is absolutely beautiful. It's really onle a par three, but a long one. The y have a couple of par 5's that are challenging. All in all this course to me was just about perfect.
