Fantastic California day........60 degree's...... sunshine....no wind...shortsleve's......Dec. 28 , day before my B-Day,, with 4some of my best buddie's.............. Lone Tree is a beautiful golf course in the Delta area,,, with more than 1 tree !!!!!!!!! bring your big boy DeWalt, & stay in the fairway's.......... Great special out of the newspaper coupon. $40 golf, cart, sleve of golf balls & a great Item's from lunch menu. You can not beat this when you can get it..............
The real golf course of the area with no house's built around it.
The tee boxes have gotten plenty of use. But still viable. Fairway's very good, green with nice run out. Ruff was actually pretty lush. Green's were their normal self. Held very well with nice speed & not bumpy & a little tricky.....
Ecellent pace. We started on the 10, with a 4some teeing of on the NO. 1 tee because of the frost freeze. No one really in fornt or behind. This is one of the golf course's I will pay full price to play on, anytime ,,, anyday. It is my favorite...

A truly engaging layout with sufficient challenge. Finally, the real first day of spring!! Very warm with light winds made a welcomed change to all the rain recently. But the rain has prevented the mowing of some rough and fairways, and this resulted in a very long course with moist to damp conditions. Very difficult to find a ball if missing the fairway, in the 5 inch rough. It will only improve. Extremely lush conditions throughout and manicuring continuing with good maintenance evident tee to green. Greens very good with soft holding surfaces, and true smooth rolls; moderate speed. These too will quicken very soon. Pace was fine (4.5 hrs), carts on fairways 90*, no drinks cart today but easy access grill on the turn. Sufficient rest stations along the course. Large prac/fac and first class clubhouse with great menu and food. Well stocked pro shop and nice friendly staff throughout a very active club, makes my return inevitable . See new photos.

They charge top dollar on the weekends,,, but,,, they have not finished there recycleing container. Seems like a year now. So the course was dry and brown in areas. Tee's , fairway's & greens all had damage. Greens were bumpy. Also they just did a punch on the first 9's greens with no mentioning when we checked in. Also the had to use the left ( optional ) green on #10 because the normal one was almost dead. I like to play here..... but price and lack of up keep latley has kept me away. If you read my reviews I had given them very good reviews. Can't now. Also no cart girl on a warm afternoon. So no pic's........ KW

Hi guys. You really need to label the different AZ & CA Lone Tree golf courses. Lone Tree is one of our favorites. Got a great special for normal $50 Sunday AM. Included was range balls & a BBQ lunch on the patio that aver looks the 18th green. For drought season the whole course was in great shape from tees to greens to the cart girl Ashley !!!!!!!!!! Got to figure out how to post pics ..................

Played Sat afternoon 5/16 for an outrageously low $17 greens fee + tax. Now that it's hot again, fewer people on the course means faster pace of play. Tee boxes were in excellent shape. Fairways were a little thin in spots but overall very playable. Greens were being aerated so it's no fair to rate them, though still quite playable (I bombed in a 45 footer on one hole!). Greens should be back to normal in about 1 week. The three sand traps I was in all had good sand, so recovery shots were possible.

As always, service here separates this course from so many others; never had a bad experience with anyone here and that held true today as well. A fun course to play, and a great value in the summertime.

Living in Concord it's hard to find a close by municipal course that gets the job done. Outside of Tilden Park in Berkeley, Lone Tree is probably one of the better places to try out. I'm not a huge fan of Antioch or the people that live there, but Lone Tree has become a favorite course of mine to play. The pace may be a little slow on the weekends, but the price is right and the course is kept in pretty good shape. The holes play fairly straight and the course has some decent changes in elevation.
