"Played in the rain on May 22nd. First time back to this course since ownership change. Much more casual and enjoyable. Counter help and starter were very nice. I was a little perplexed...we had our Roger Dunn Birdie card which is supposed to give you 40% off. We only got $4 off? I"m imagining that 40% was for the old rates under Troon. In any case, course is still worth $45. I love the lay out here. Everything was in good shape. Sure, the rough is pretty non existent and sometimes there's a problem with your ball up against a clump of grass in the rough, but deal with it. Or keep it in the fairway! The place was empty. And we did have to get off the course during some thunder and lightning but the staff was very polite and efficient in making sure we were safe. Gen. Manager Steve even came by and intro'd himself in the bar while we were waiting out the storm. I'll put this course back in my rotation. Too bad it costs me more to drive there now than to play there!"
