I have been wanting to play this course for some time now.. and I took the day off as it was my birthday and played it.. I was not dissapointed in any way. the price was great and the course was in great condition even though we had temps in the high 90s all week long. one tip for playing here. GET A CART.. I was going to walk and the staff said you might want to ride, as theres a long area you have to go across to twice in the round.
they were right, its a loooong walk across the creek to the other holes and a person can't keep up against a person in a cart.
while this is a par 68, it has 5 par 5's and 9 par 3's which allows you to make up strokes easily. I loved this couse as it allow's and reward's for long shots as well as the par 3 which were very interesting too and will give up birdies also... it is well worth the money and will be one of my favorites.. Los Lagos, meaning the lakes, and it has the lakes but is fair and isn't that bad... it also has a driving range too as well as some of the best prices on shoes I have ever seen.. so if your in the area check this course out, I think you to will love it and not be dissapointed.

I love this course. The first time that I ever played a full 18 holes I shot a 76 and the last couple of rounds have been right about 80. Great course!!

Great place to play. Alot of par 3's, but the par 5's are tough, so they make up for it.

Once again the course played great. It was hotter than sin in San Jose this weekend but they did a great job keeping the course green and lush. Some of the greens had some serious dimple action but the rest of the course was great. Play moved with no back up on any holes. This par 68 course is worth every penny to play it.

This is a great little course. I live in the area, so I usually come out here to play or practice when I don't have a lot of time. The tee boxes and fairways are in good to great shape. The greens are pretty true an relatively fast for a muni. Ball marks are sometimes a problem. I sort of wish they would hand out ball mark tools to folks and preach course caretaking 101 to folks. Anyway, the course drains really well even with all the rain we had this winter. For example, after one wet week this past March, I walked the course on a dry day and only found a few wet patches.

There are enough par 4 and 5's to make it interesting. The five PAR 5s are long and all have elevation changes to them. As mentioned by one other post, the hole layout makes walking a good exercise since you have to cross the bridge separating the course several times.

On a side note: I've witness two hole in ones on this course.

Fabulous course. Los Lagos was challenging, but not frustrating. The greens were smooth, the tee boxes were well kept and the fairways were forgiving. I was able to effectively use my 3 wood from the rough. I would definitely play this course again. To quote Goldilocks, this "was just right!".
