This is more of an experience than a golf round. Absolutely amazing. Hard to put a price on it, but they did with almost 500. Hard to concentrate on swing thoughts with the views and feelings you get walking these hallowed grounds. Your camera will be exhausted after it all. Better views and scenes than you see on TV. Course itself is in great condition, with some trouble on divots not being repaired, but who carries sand with them in their bag? If there was once course I could play forever and forsake all others, this would be it, if I could afford it that is. Do yourself a favor and make the pilgrimage to golf Mecca one day before you die.

Tough tough course, for me at least. Yes, costs a pretty penny, but gotta pay your dues to walk the same grounds as the champs. Very pretty course, starting out near the ocean before heading out to the forest. Greens are very tough and breaks more than most people think. A little hilly, but definitely a course to walk to get the whole feel for it. Conditions are great, although not many people replace their divots.

Finally got a chance to play here and loved it. Great layout and a very good looking course. Not too much trouble to get into here, and a fun place to play. Very flat, so a very walkable course. There is a lot of noise from the nearby shooting area, but you will be used to it after a while. Course itself was in great condition. Got out as a single in 20 minutes. Course took 4.5 hours. Fairways and greens were great. Bunkers had good sand. Rough was patchy, some areas were thin, some thick, some bare, some were mounds of grass next to bare spots. Don't go in the rough. Had a great time and would recommend it. A little pricey, but rates are a bit cheaper than what is posted. Comes with a free cart, but do yourself a favor and walk.

What a great course. First time playing and now I see that prior playing experience here will help significantly. Course itself is in great shape. Fairways and greens are perfect, sand looks nice, but not as fluffy as I'd prefer. Tee boxes are great. Only problem were inconsistent rough. Some of it is nice and long, other parts was very thin and mud. Layout is very nice, a few doglegs and some places you can't see the hole from the tee box. Staff was very nice with complementary valet and taking your bag to the cart for you, as well as a nice clean up and carry the clubs to your trunk of you car that is waiting right outside the door. Played with an OC trail card that Bobdaninja gave to me from the GK Robinson Ranch event, but even at regular price, you get a very nice course.

Great parts and so so parts. For the great parts, the sand was awesome. When I took a step into a bunker, I sank about 6", sand light and fluffy, makes for real bunker play unlike most dirt traps at muni's. Great challenge on the greens. The practice greens are very similar, so take your time practicing on them before the round. If greens look flat, they are not, most will tend to run toward the city, even if it looks straight. I swear I had one break uphill. The fairways were good, but tee boxes could use the most work. They are working on them, as there are great tee areas, but the tee markers are currently not on them. The course itself is good, although lots of places to lose your ball. There is a grill set up on the turn for hot dogs and burgers as well.

Not a bad place to play on a weekday after noon. Teed off at 12:30 and finished at 3:45. Fairways and tee boxes can use work, but it is good for the most part. Greens are 1/2 punched and sanded right now, so land on the good half of the green and you will be putting fine. Easy to walk except for the uphill signature hole, a par 3 that you should club up 2 clubs for.

Fun course. Walking is ok, except 1 long uphill on hole 9. Course is in decent condition. Some yellow grass on the fairways, but mostly good. Greens are a little challenging on some holes. Most fairways are bowled style and errant shots can funnel down to where you want them. Pace is pretty slow. Was in the 6th group out and finished in 5 hours.

Decent par 62 course. Easy to walk although one long uphill walk. All par 3's n 4's. Most holes are straight forward and a couple slight dog legs. Can be wet in some areas but overall fairways and greens are decent muni style. Bunkers aren't good, but can chip out of them. One great down hill par 3. Pretty fast, as I finished in 2 hours on a sunday afternoon. A bit overpriced for what you get though.

Peaceful course and quiet, except the random loud trucks that pass by. Course is in good condition, great fairways except a few damp areas. Lots of tree trouble for errant shots. Bunkers aren't great, but some sand in them, not hard packed like typical muni's. Pace here is great. Started at 8:30 and finished before noon. Course itself is pretty unimaginative. A few doglegs, but typically straight with trees on both sides.

Always a relaxing and fun time here with good people. Played today pretty well most likely due to the relaxing atmosphere. Conditions are pretty average here. Known usually for great greens, but they still have some sand on them right now from being worked on. It should be great again by the end of the month. Fairways are pretty nice, but them bunkers are and have always been hard packed, luckily there aren't too many of them around. Watch yourself on hole 6, as people from hole 5 generally slice their drives toward that hole.

It's a LA muni, so can't have too high expectations. Pretty flat course, easy to walk if the temperature is ok, golf carts are very old with bald tires. Layout is pretty uninteresting. Not a difficult course and you can score a bit easier here. Fairways/greens/rough/tee boxes were very average muni style. Not horrible, but not great, just kinda there and not memorable. Bunkers range from sand to hard dirt. Over 5 hours on a weekend, and for the price you can play much better courses if you drive a bit more.

Definately a fun place for a casual round. Not more than 3 & 4 par's but lots of fun. Conditions of tee boxes can use plenty of work. Rest of the course is ok, not terrible, but not great. Come for the fun of it with friends. Very open during weekday twilight hours. Got around 18 in about 2 hours.
