Played today 12/10/10.

The Good
1. No traffic on the 91/15 that is surprising!
2. Only had to pay $16 cart fee today cause it is the week of my birthday!
3. First time out, really liked the set up. Different than most of the courses out there.
4. No rough at all. which makes things easy and hard. easy cause your lies will always be great but hard because there are so many mounds everywhere there is no rough to stop the ball going into the the numerous lakes.
5. great customer service and pace of play today.
6. There is a burn in the middle of the fairway on maybe 6 holes or so. makes strategy come into play.
7. Saw the cart girl 3 times all in the back nine (teed off at 6:45 am so didnt expect to see her in the front)
The Bad
1. Only thing I can see is the pitch marks. Wow. Ive never seen so many unfixed divots. Crazy. People need to fix theres! Kinda disapointed by people not fixing them.

Other
1. GPS on the cart
2. no coolers on cart
3. I saw 2 coolers on hole #6 and #14 i think.
4. grass range and two putting greens.

Played here 10/14/10. Read some good things and had a deal in the reddot book. 67.50 on a friday at 11am. Every other course in vegas is double, triple this price.

Very nice day. 90 degrees with very little wind. Fee includes cart with gps and cooler. range balls. No one on the course in front of us.

Reviews about this course were right. Pretty wide open and but alot of fairway bunkers. ball travels far in vegas, played from the tips and wasnt overwhelmed at all.

Tip from a local that we played with. The ball doesnt break as much as you think it does.

Only thing is the rough is a lil rough there you dont know how the ball is going to react when in there. the ball buries it pops up kinda weird.

I have to give this course a shout out! I grew up playing this course and know it inside and out. This course has the best greens Ive ever played for a muni course. better than courses twice as much. I dont know how they keep them in such great shape. The course overall was fantastic when I played this weekend. THey are preping for the San Jose City Championship and maintaining it well.

Great course. Helpful staff. Great price.

Played Eagle Glen on Saturday 6/20/10. First time out there. Teed off at 11 oclock.

1. First thing you notice is there a starter out there on the tee box. And he kinda rushes you. Mentioned that there is a timer on the golf cart and that if you fall behind 10 minutes you will get a visit from him. Also, that if you tipped the golf cart you are responsible. Kinda unnecessary info.

2. Tee boxes were punched but didnt affect anything.

3. I always like to know if there are coolers on the carts and yes there are, as well as gps and water stations every 6 holes or so.

4. Great pace of play, we felt a little rushed but we finished in 4.5 hours with no one in front of us.

5. fairways were good, greens played very fast i liked the challenge. Rough wasnt penalizing at all.

6. greens were the best part of the course.

7. no water on the course except hole #18.

8. Saw the cart girl and marshall plenty of times.

9. Very challenging track. Only problem is the price. $75 for weekend seems a little steep considering the prices around the area. You can play Hidden Valley and Trilogy for $50 bucks. That might be the only reason I dont come back until next year when I have another deal in the Reddot book.

Played 5/15 at 6am. South was closed for a Shotgun tournament. First time playing north in probably 6 years. Fantastic shape. greens were good, fairways narrow and good, rough was cut pretty short so not that difficult. For 2/3rds the price of South you still get alot of good holes by the ocean and the difficulty is pretty easy from the blues. Glad I tried it but probably will play South next time.

The Good
1. Walked on as a twosome with no wait, did not get joined by anyone.
2. Got a free round because of the LA Golf Show, only had to pay $10 cart fee
3. Pace of play was 4.5 hours.
4. Staff was very friendly.

The Bad
1. The greens were a little long for my take.
2. Some kid asked us for our cart at the end of the round. very odd.

The Ugly
1. The tee boxes were sandy.
2. The course was extremely muddy. This course does not drain well.
3. Alot of bare spots in rough and fairway.
4. Hole on the back, par 5 16th, is completely messed up. They basically closed the hole and left us with 168 yards left. I warning at the pro-shop would have been nice. It doesnt look like that hole will be open anytime soon.

I wasnt worried about the course conditions so much cause I havent heard many good things, its a shame too cause with proper care this course could be very challenging and good.

I played 2/20 on saturday afternoon at twilite time. Good thing about this course is right now twilite starts at 12 rather than 12:30 like Miles.
This course was surprisngly empty, had a 12:22 tee time but coulda gotten off much earlier. Maybe cause of the rain in the morning. Course had no real wet areas from rain very dry and playable. This course can be a pain if they decide to put some of the pin positions in diffcult locations, which they did. Ive never played this course in under 5 hours and probably finished today at around 4 hours 45 minutes. not bad.
Wind was a problem throughout the day but good thing this course isnt really too long.
Bunkers were like beach sand and plugged very easily. Coming back this saturday cause got another good twilite time.

I played this course for the first time on Saturday 1/23/2010. So Cal was pummeled with rain all week so I was expecting the worst.

The course drained pretty well. Alot of the course was dry considering the amount of rain we received. I think the bunkers received the worst of the damages. They were almost unplayable.

The rough around the greens were cut very thin and patchy at times but didnt bother me too much.

Tee boxes were in good shape but you could tell werent shaved in a couple of days.

The greens were in good shape but far from perfect. As long as the putts roll true I cant complain. People need to fix their divots tho.

Tough course to play for the first time.

Pro shop was very friendly. We had a 12:08 tee time (twilite starts at 12) but they let us out at 11:35.

Saw the cart girl about 4 times and finished 18 holes in 4 hours.

Playing again this Sunday.

I played Woodley on 12/5. I always like playing this course cause it is rather easy and the greens are in decent shape. The greens are actually pretty good for a muni but rather slow. No complaints than usual. The tee box area was slightly muddy and there seems to be a greater number of geese than usual on the course (of course leads to additional "treats" for you to step in).

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!!!! I went their to play with my buddies and nothing about this course is worth playing. I went there to play using my RedDot discount book but they would not honor the rate on their website to use the buy one get one free coupon. They insist that "Twilight Rate" is considered a "discount." Now that we had to play the increased green fee we would expect a certain level of customer service. NONE. They closed the snack shop before we finished 9 holes because there were only 9 groups on the course (I now understand why there was only 9). So now we are both angry with the increased costs as well as hungry. Lastly, the greens were a joke. DEAD and grainy. STAY AWAY!! Very Uncooperative!
