Welllll, how to approach this one. Played today (5/17) using the GMoose Coupon and sked for 11:00. Insisted giving it a go with an open mind and remain optimistic due to the 50/50 reviews. Pro shop staff were very nice, and the Patio area/Clubhouse looked very welcoming; however, as far as the 'Resort' it must be in reference to the adjacent two story lodging, and facilities that obviously cater more towards special events rather than the golfing aspect. Putting area nice; driving range grass into outlying dirt, but it does serve the purpose. We didn't notice the chipping/bunker practice area until after we were leaving. There was absolutely no one out on the course when we arrived so they let us start 15 mins. early (10:45).
White & Blue Tee boxes were a little unlevel and a bit chewed up. Forward (Red) tees, for the most part were all much nicer, pretty level. 5 tee boxes to choose from.
Fairways were a mixed bag; and obviously have taken their fair share hit from the winter dormancy, water drought, and need for a little attention - BUT we did see course maintenance crews weed wacking in one area, and digging out the weeds from one bunker in another. Stay on the fairway...typically you had an okay lie for your follow on shots; go off and you were hitting from wet dirt (from recent rains), overgrown crab grass/kukulia grass/weeds.
Bunkers were my absolute least favorite feature (annoyance) on this track. There were hidden little pot bunkers all over the place; some placed right up next to your tee boxes..what's up with that? Don't be looking for any fluffy or even a decent depth of sand in any of these...never saw so many with those railroad ties in them...very odd to me. Railroad ties steps up to some of the tee boxes are quite rotted out so you had to watch your step.
Greens were probably the only saving grace. They were in pretty good condition, minimal unrepaired divots, quite receptive to shots (again probably due to recent rains), undulating, medium speeds, and ran fairly true.
A lot of waste areas, and not ever playing this course, the unknowns were plenty - which resulted in a Lot of frustration. No GPS on carts so you really needed to pay attention to the signs to get any idea of how to shape your shots. Carts were comfy, and there were actually 2 areas where you could switch out seed bottles if needed. Winds kicked up and made tough shots even tougher.
I can see the potential of this course, and the new person in charge certainly has their work cut of for them but hoping they feel it's worth saving this course. Would hate to see another one succumb to reclamation by San Diego County.
Finally saw others on the course way ahead of us; but truly felt we had the course to ourselves all day...as a result POP 3.5 hrs, and I even took the opportunity to hit a 2nd ball for practice here and there. Cart girl was pleasant and made her rounds to the tune of at least 4 times that I recall. A few nice water areas to look at, and overall a nice local course. Course knowledge a must to shoot a decent score. Would've loved to have seen the course in its hay day...but for now...just looks like it needs a lot of TLC. May be a one and done for us, but who knows.

Played today (5/3/15) with hubby rstang06, 1:10pm tee time; utilizing GKer coupon ($40).
Brent was pleasant as always, and got us all checked in/bucket of balls, and on our way.
Weather was excellent, Wind typical of Temecula in the afternoon. Starter got us out on time, and overall POP for a packed day was quite acceptable at close to 5 hrs.
Grass driving range (w/restricted distance range balls); fairly large putting area.
Tee boxes were all in good shape, level, and lush. Fairways were in great shape, and rolled out quite well. Did not notice any major divot damage. Rough was lush and punishing to hit out of. If you spray it off in to the field/weeds/woods/vineyards, you don't want to go in after your ball. Rattlesnakes are not uncommon for this course. Read GKer review that stated the bunkers were all improved with new sand...well, they must've missed a few, because I found a couple definitely in need of sand. Hard, rocky, and one had standing water; BUT majority of the others did have new soft sand...so in summary - bunkers are not consistent throughout; but are playable. Greens were the difficult factor for sure..a lot of subtle breaks, and speed was crucial. Balls would get right to the cup and move right or left of the hole. Otherwise greens have healed nicely from the aeration last month. I repaired at least 3 divots per green; some twice as many. This course is simply a pleasure to play. Very appealing to the eye, challenging layout with tight fairways, blind doglegs, and WIND. Saw the cart girl twice. No more GPS systems on the carts, and you can't fold down the front windshield. Ball washers, and water stations throughout, and nice restroom facilities. Staff are exceptional, and you can't beat the GKer deal. One of my fav courses even though it typically kicks my 6.

3/15/15 @ 11:20 (Underpar.com Deal). Finally able to get out and hit the links with hubby (rstang06)...it's been awhile for me as I don't get out to play as much as 2014. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Temp reached 92, and wind didn't kick up and become a problem until mid-way through the round, then died off as suddenly as it picked up. First time we played was around December and it was cold and course was in okay shape; with a lot of work being done...and it showed their efforts today. Course was pretty spot on. Nice and green with only a few areas GUR. Fairways were nice, very easy to hit off of. Rough was beautiful and very playable out of as well. Bunkers were nice fluffy white sand (some were a little damp as the worker bees were making their rounds watering the fringe and greens). Greens were very nice as well (for the time of day we were playing). Aside from the footprints, a little more prevalent as the day wore on, they rolled pretty true. Much faster than the practice putting area. The course is tucked away beside the RB Inn, and it's a trek from the very crowded parking lot to the Pro Shop. First timers here could be very confused where to check in. You have to follow the walkway down around behind the Main lobby area, past the outdoor dining patio, and you'll see the golf carts (turn right into the Pro Shop). Putting green is located in front of the outdoor dining area. No chipping practice area. $5 for a 40 ball bucket, which you have to drive out through the parking lot over to the adjacent other Country Club of Rancho Bernardo, where there is the driving range (hit off mats; but they are the nice mats). Starter is VERY pleasant and helpful with all the hints and cart path only speal to start your day. Cart Girl certainly made her rounds - we must've seen her at least 6 times - sweet/friendly as well. I truly enjoy this track. GPS on carts. Ball washers and Ice cold drink stations throughout. VERY lady friendly from the Gold tees. It'll certainly make you work for a good score though. Pin placement will definitely make/break your game. Will certainly be looking for more coupons and hopefully score another deal for future play. This course is in the best shape it's been in years. Those that were disappointed a year ago (when it was in pretty shabby shape)...give it another go...I think you'll enjoy it. POP: 4 1/2.

rstang06(hubby) and I played here yesterday 8/31 off an Underpar.com coupon deal. I called 8/30, and booked a tee time where they could get us out with another twosome at 10:16 (our coupon had a 1000 start or later restriction), so that worked for us. We arrived and they did not have us on the roster; BUT went out of their way to get us out and so much so, that as we were walking out with our buckets of practice balls the Starter said he could get us out right then and there with another twosome (if we were ready and willing)...otherwise it was uncertain as to when we'd get out due to the solid bookings of 3 and 4's. So we set the practice balls down, got in our cart, and awaaaaaaay we went. Maybe I should do that more often as I was nailing them down the middle pretty good ;) so on to the review
STAFF: EXCEPTIONAL as always, from the check in to the Starter to the Cart Lady (who made her rounds quite frequently) Reasonable prices off the cart and $2.00 beers all day...thought of a couple GKers that would've like that ;)
TEE BOXES: Good to Great; mostly level, green, and not too divoted out.
GREENS: WONDERFUL, as they typically are; however, there were the typical unrepaired/poorly repaired ball marks, and dirt clods/rocks from the bunkers. Rolled out true, at medium speed - nothing ran fast all day, quite consistent. Subtle breaks. Area up to the greens also maintained quite well; green; kukulia grass.
BUNKERS: Very inconsistent throughout the whole course. 50% moist dirt/thin/clay bottom, and even on the same fairway 50% Soft/Thick/Fluffy sand. Typical as well were the unraked bunkers. Sigh!
FAIRWAYS: Yes, as with prior reviews, the course is playing it smart and opted to focus what little water is available on their tee boxes and the greens areas. Fairways are all but pretty browned out, still playable for the most part, but will roll out and off into the 'rough' if you err on the wrong side of the slope...
ROUGH: Very thin as well, again due to water rationing and the course focusing on play-ability off the tee box and up onto the green.
PRACTICE Area: Driving range = older mats, but today practice was off grass in front of the mats. Practice Chipping area is located behind the Driving range. Practice green is very nice as well. Quaint Pro Shop/Snack area with a large outdoor seating area which used to be covered, overlooks 18th tee. Ball washing stations on each hole, although one on 10th tee box still broken. Marshal was present and pleasant.
A few water stations throughout. Bathroom facilities are outhouse type and I think there are only two on the course? We still enjoy playing this local course and will go back, but probably later when the Fall temps and morning moisture (or rain) can help the course recover. Course is doing great with what they have. C'mon Rain! :)

Played here with hubby (rstang06) on 8/10, Underpar.com Coupon Deal, tee time 11:23.
Hadn't played MtW in awhile due to the recent reviews; but I've always enjoyed this course as I love the surreal location/vistas throughout (and the fun trek from 2nd Hole to the 3rd) ;)
Due to new owners of 'The Castle' at Mt.Woodson, they've routed traffic entrance/exit to the GC via the further areas of the parking lot. (I was told mainly to minimize vehicle noise/traffic as the Castle hosts many formal/semi-formal mtgs/events).
As you enter, you'll also notice they've relocated the Practice hitting nets, over adjacent to the chipping practice area, which is a fair distance from the ProShop.
Check in was pleasant as always, the Staff here are friendly and professional. Practice Green next to the starter was in excellent shape; but ran faster than the greens out on the course (for the most part). Starter was able to pair us up with another twosome and get us out about 15 mins earlier than our scheduled tee time. Realizing it is Summer, Ramona area gets very hot (and windy), and current drought conditions...my review will echo what many have already posted previously.
Pluses:
Greens were nice, receptive, unfortunately quite a few unrepaired/poorly repaired ball marks (not fault of course; just golfers with no sense of etiquette). Rolled medium to medium slow, fairly true.
Bunkers were less than impressive - minimal to non-existent sand.
Fairways? Looked as though they were aerated but not your typical hole style aeration. Looked almost as if a disc cutter; longer horizontal cuts into the fairway; but for the most part fairway hits resulted in decent lie for follow-on shots.
Rough was very playable, with some thin GUR areas.
Outter areas of the course show evidence of upkeep/trimmings/placement of bark/flowers, etc.
No cart girl this day, but there is ample to chose from the snack shop.
Water jugs throughout the course.
This course is extremely lady friendly at the forward tees.
Shot a good score of 97, with 2 blow up holes one on each set of 9's.
Pace of play was average 4.5 hrs...course kept things moving...we didn't have to wait long on any particular tee box.
Tee boxes were somewhat beat up, and placement of the tee markers were in some case, unlevel, and awkward feeling.
Regardless of all the somewhat negatives...I still enjoy this course. Hopefully future deals with option for earlier tee time (no restrictions), will keep us going back.
Don't give up on this course...it is a fun/challenging/ball stealin course.

First time I ever played this Beautiful and Intriguing course was in Dec 2011, with several military co-workers (golfers). I've always said I would welcome the opportunity to go back again when course was not in winter brown out conditions and affordability presented itself. I'm certainly glad that patience/perseverance plus an Underpar.com Deal and Exceptionally accommodating GM-Bill @ Maderas = Opportunity Knocked! And what could ever make it any better..the company and golf prowess of 7 additional GKers. We coordinated our GKer Meet-n-Play for Saturday, 8/9/2014 @ 8:00 and 8:13 first 18 tee times. As was with my first experience at Maderas, this day's event did not disappoint either. From the Welcoming Greetings upon arrival, loading of our bags to carts, Pro Shop check-in, friendly/informative Starter, ever present courteous Marshals monitoring pace of play, to the super friendly cart lady who made frequent rounds.
- Service is "Top Notch". It is very easy to see why this course is ranked so highly. Even during current drought restrictions, Maderas maintenance crews have done a remarkable job to keep the fairways in nearly perfect condition (only saw one area marked GUR), and one or two fairways showing slight brown out. Fairways typically challenged you with left to right/right to left slopes you must factor into your shot and rolled out considerably fast. (Provided you avoided the PUNISHING thick 3" Rough) .
Tee Boxes were lush, level, with minimal divot damage, and Very Lady friendly (18th hole in particular) (Cpennbo and I played from the Reds; while Tobster shot from the Green tees. Nice to have a couple options from the forward tees.)
Bunkers had no shortage of ample soft sand which aided in easy up n outs.
Starter advised of entry and exit markers to the fairways, instructing to remain in the fairways off the rough, and exit between markers.
Greens were Pristine. Fairly large with subtle undulations; however, rolled fast and true. Soft and receptive. Experienced minimal ball marks, (mainly due to following behind GKers who I did see fixing several ball marks per green). Scenery was spectacular. Winds can play a factor, and typically kick up mid-day. Upon completion of our first round; cart staff were at the ready to move our bags around as needed;
offering up nice cold lavender scented face towels...NICE, in addition to their homemade Lemonade.
Practice facility: I would like to see them bring back those nice white pyramids of golf balls. Currently you receive a small pouch of golf balls (2) bags per cart, to warm-up with. Chipping/practice bunker area is located up from the driving range.
No GPS on carts as they do offer caddy services. Yardage booklets are available for purchase @ $5.00 in the Pro Shop. Carts are equipped with a cooler and come with two small bottles of water. Food and snacks are a little pricey for our budget, but that's normal for the higher end courses. We opted not to stay and eat at the restaurant as there was a special event going on. So I was l little disappointed in not getting my homemade potato chip fix. BUT, I noticed they had some nice weekday happy hour promotions I just may have to return and investigate. ;)
Almost forgot to mention...If you opt to play from the Tips, be prepared...this course will humble you quickly. (18th Hole 600)
Kudos to the Fabulous staff, Thank You to Bill for your welcoming Hello, and ensuring our two rounds played were AMAZING!
Course is in Great Summer shape - Grab a deal and 'Go Play'. Just this novice golfin gals thoughts.

Purchased an online discounted price for today 7/20 @ 8:00 a.m. via the courses website for ONLY $29.00 ea (incl cart/range use) and unlimited all day play on any combination of the three nines. Met up with fellow GKers (teagal (Kristie) and acesfull (John). The customer service here is FLAWLESS. Such a Pleasant Welcoming WONDERFUL experience from every single person working there. Even fellow golfers (residents) were simply a pleasure. So Nice!
Felt as though we had the course allllllllll to ourselves. We had absolutely no one in front or behind us the entire day (18 Holes. We played West and North 9s), which resulted in the most enjoyable "Leisurely" round I think I've ever played. Weather was warm/balmy earlier in the day, little to No wind at all, and Knats in full force. As the wet fairways/etc. dried up a bit the dry heat kicked up a notch.
Practice driving range is off of mats with 'short range' balls for warm-ups. You have the option of driving down the hill to an area with two practice stations in hitting your Driver off of grass. Putting greens in front of the Pro Shop were fairly large and in great shape. We were advised at the start that the course was opting to let things grow out a bit during the summer to keep it from all burning out. Hence, the tee boxes, rough, and greens were quite "Lush" (just a tidge on the shaggy side) but still very green/playable. Get off in the deep stuff and it was hard to find/hit your ball. Some areas down in the 'gully' (West & North tracks), could result in standing water or dry bare patches. Not much in the way of roll outs on this course. You had to hit to the green and with the firmness and length/cut of the greens, you could hit and bounce off the back or come up short and try your hand at getting your putt to the cup (a lot of 2 and 3 putts today). Overall they rolled quite true, but you really had to get it there. Didn't see any unrepaired ball marks; divots in the fairways were filled in; and bunkers raked. Bunkers were more of a shallow, damp, yet consistent condition throughout.
This course (3 nines), was quite interesting to say the least. BEAUTIFUL array of Palm trees (and there were A LOT!!) and certainly no shortage of water hazards. This is a resort/private residential area, and as such - depending on which 9 you play, there are houses/condos galore skirting each side of the fairways. No cart girl this time of year, and the restaurant was on reduced hours of operation as well. However, the snack shop was conveniently located at the turn of all 3 nines. Cold water fountains throughout the course, and ice/water machines adjacent to the cart area. Pro shop fully stocked and professionally managed. Very eager to advise of course conditions, availability of services, and even that if you book a minimum of 2 days in advance via their online booking you can grab the rate of $29, versus the typical summer rate or $45...and did I mention that is unlimited as many times as you want to test the nines. (With at cart). Carts equipped with coolers, but no GPS. yardage markers run down the middle of the fairways. Bottom-line, you can't beat the price for this wonderful array of courses (with a Friendly/Welcoming resort atmosphere), and exceptional GK company. This is one course we'll certainly look forward to playing again in the future. Just this novice golfin gals opinion.

Played 7/13 w/an Underpar coupon same day replay for two w/cart, lunch, and small bucket of range balls per player. Tee time of 10:48, because the course was PACKED!!!
They do have a driving range area but off matts. Located over by the pool/end of the parking lot. Beautiful Pro Shop. Nice upper 19th hole patio style seating. Typical browned out conditions mainly due to lack of rain and the heat of Summer; but still fairways rolled out nicely and most fairway shots would result in a decent lie for subsequent shots to the green. Tee boxes were in great condition, greens could've used mowing as they were inconsistent from one to the next with slow to medium roll on some and medium semi-fast on others. Bunkers were equipped with sufficient sand to get a nice wedge shot out of. Course was in pretty good condition for this time of year and the drought conditions. Pace of play was somewhat slow and we did not opt for a 2nd round. This course has an interesting layout, and will challenge even the seasoned golfer. Truly enjoy everything about this course and the clubhouse. Driving range could use a little work, and the chipping area (down behind the 1st tee box), could use a trim as well. We enjoy this course and for the price of the coupon -- it can't be beat. just this novice golfin gal's point of view.

Played at the GK Event on 7/12. We were the first group out @ 12:00. As always the day was fabulous, meeting up with familiar faces, and getting acquainted with new ones :). The course conditions overall were very nice.
There is a driving range where you can hit off grass; a nice chipping area; and a couple practice green areas. Clubhouse consists of 2 trailers - one a bathroom facility and the other the small but adequate Pro shop. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Course obviously suited my game of the day, as I shot a 96 (avg 106), resulting in my winning D Flight. Wahoo. Oh...back to the ratings versus my giddy rantings.
Tee boxes were large, level, and in excellent shape. Fairways nicely taken care of. Ball set up nicely and divots repaired. Bunkers looked nice as well. Seemed like adequate level/quality of sand. Greens were not crazy fast; which I thought would be based off the practice greens. But overall they rolled pretty true and consistent. Course was pretty full in the morning with other groups/tournament, and as the 1st Team out for our GK Event, we did repair some ball marks; but for the most part - minimally. LOVED their signature Adirondack chairs. Agree with one other rating's comments, "The pin placements were sometimes in difficult areas and sometimes in very accessible areas."
They weren't easy, but not ridiculously difficult either.
We saw the cart girl twice. No GPS on carts. Water stations on course. Pace of place was good considering the amount of events/groups out on the course this day.
Wind wasn't a major issue when we started; however, by the back 9 it started to make it known that it can be a force to contend with for certain. Rough wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be/could've been. Seems as though they've cut alot of it back significantly. Water hazard areas were all but dried up reedy areas. Get in the deep rough and you had your work cut out to get the ball up/out (IF you found it).
Back 9, in my opinion seemed a little more difficult than the front. 3hr drive for us from our neck of the woods, but this course is certainly one we would love to play in the future; when travels to the area arose. Olivas Links is truly a Must Play! ...in this novice golfin gals humble opinion. :)

Played here on 7/6/14 @ 1:08pm. Pd $52.00 via their online booking. GK match play with dconnelly. rstang06 and rat-patrol joined in on the fun, sunny, bright and breezy afternoon.
Clubhouse/Pro Shop are 'Top Notch'. Smaller driving range area typically off mats (but guess they were off grass today), with nearby bunker/chipping/putting areas.
Starter is ALWAYS soooooo pleasant and helpful -- Best part of the day (w/exception of my fellow GKers ;)
Golf carts are not equipped with a GPS system; just the bare bones, but they certainly have some get up and go!!
Tee boxes were in great shape. Some of the Red tee boxes were a little shaggy and in need of mowing, but overall level and no major divot damage.
Fairways were the best we've seen out of the other times we've played here before. They rolled out quite a way as they were a little dry and cut short - nice and very playable!! Most fairway divots were filled in with seed mix. Water stations throughout.
Bunkers were almost the most disappointing facet of this course. Other than folks obviously showing no regard for raking up after themselves, the sand was quite compact and crusty around the sides, with rocks mixed in.
Most disappointing (in my opinion) were the greens. Don't think I've ever played this course with greens in anything higher than a 'fair' to 'dismal' condition (mainly why I don't play it often). Very frustrating to see the amount of unrepaired/poorly repaired ball marks and cleat/scuff marks. Not only visually disappointing, but difficult to get a true, smooth reliable roll to the cup. (didn't help today that my putting game was off - but not a factor in my ranking of these greens).
The course layout overall is very scenic and pleasing. Most fairways slope left to right, with greens back to front. Houses only come into play on about 6 or 7 holes; if you are prone to hook or slice. Rough was very playable with minimal bare/thin areas.
Pace of play was fairly leisurely - only pushed once; by a threesome that we let play through on Hole 11 (Par 3), where pin was tucked 'way over to the side' behind the bunker. Some of the pin placements were questionable, and even positions of the tee markers in relation to the trees/bushes growing in the way of your shot from the blues and occasionally on the reds.
Ball washers on each hole (only encountered one without a towel - Hole 16)...the blind shot out to a receptive fairway if you keep it toward the left/middle (trouble on the right).
Challenging, yet rewarding for the well hit shots. Trash cans on each hole are a little on the smaller size and several were over flowing with spillage on the ground (unsightly). Saw the Marshal once. This course is best played in the morning, but rack rate will grab the thrifty deal seekers toward the later start times, where WIND will typically be a factor to deal with.
Cart Girl was pleasant and even zipped right on to the fairway to meet you with a smile and cold beverage. Starter advised course was recently re-rated/scorecards reflect those results. Men's hdcp posted in the cafe area; however, none specifically targeted for the women.
Overall though, we enjoyed the course, and the staff were the highlight as usual. With a little attention to the bunkers and greens, I'd certainly rank this course a little higher, and even recommend for a possible GK Event (with a morning start time). ;) Just this novice golfin gals point of view. :)

NOTE: I didn't realize my Rated conditions would result in such a low 4.0...if I could edit that I'd probably give it at least a 5.0 to 5.5 (course); and higher for facilities/staff. :) Course is worth a play if in the area.

rstang06 and I played here yesterday (6/28) with fellow GKers Bsparks/Tobster. Had a coupon for all day same day replay. Had a 12:20 tee time, but they got us out a little earlier at 12:10; sunny - Breezy conditions. Course was STACKED all day.
Check in by Pro Shop very professional and courteous.
Nice Newer looking carts (no GPS; has a cooler though), course very well marked with distance markers.
Bunkers (I didn't have to hit out of any) but they looked as though they just had new fluffy sand put in them. One or two I saw had suffered from a little too much water that had pooled in the deepest pocket of them; and aside from lack of raking...they were very nice overall.
Tee boxes were in good shape (some of the red tee boxes were unlevel and awkward to settle in for a comfortable address of your ball).
Fairways were in decent condition for the Summer and rolled out quite a way. Tight lies, and some still showing signs of a not so recent aeration (as well as a couple of the greens).
Rough was a bear to get out of and easily hid your ball if you hit/rolled into them. 3-5" of Kukulia grass. A LOT of mushy areas where its obvious they are watering the rough (lush); some standing water where sprinklers systems may have been broken and continuously leaking water.
Approach to the greens were kakulia as well, so another one of those courses you had to hit to the green...anything short and it was like velcro grabbing your ball.
Greens were very receptive. Soft and held shots pretty well. However, playing mid-day (and then we went out for another 9 holes after a bite to eat), were quite bumpy. Not severely ball marked; but certainly unrepaired marks that got our attention to fix.
Tobster came within about a foot to a foot and a half of winning a brand new VW Beetle on a promo hole for Sweet Tea Vodka - Par 3. It was AWESOME...we all were cheering the ball to go into the hole. WOW!!! Those that made the green were rewarded with a FREE round of golf; so Yes, we'll be going back. (Tobster and rstang06 (aka fastwilie), made the green.
Okay... back to the greens....balls rolled bumpalong to the hole and then broke to the left or right due to the volcano effect around the holes from all the tread/wear of the morning rounds. Was very frustrating. Very misleading greens. Even the slightest miss resulted in a major make-up 2nd or 3rd to the cup. Slow somewhat bumpy rolls up hill, and fast down slopes sometimes off the green entirely. Sigh! One Par 3 on the back 9 was insane. Rock/dirt bank to the right (and the green was a little dogleg to the right), so if you hit too far right, you could end up bouncing across and down the steep bank to the left of the par 3 fairway. Tricky shot in the wind. Pace of play was very nice. We only had a wait on one Par 3 all day.
Strange layout as this course weaves in out through houses; so you don't want to go astray on this course or you'll be trading insurance info for sure.
Cart Girl made it to us twice; and was very pleasant.
Practice facilities are wonderful. Nice chipping green/putting green, and grass driving range.
Pro shop very well stocked and they had some really great deals.
19th Hole clubhouse beautiful with scrumptious although more high-end menu/small portioned meals. (delicious Mahi Mahi fish n chips!)
Overall great experience at this course. Wind does play a major factor when playing; especially in the mid-day/afternoon.
all in this golfin gals opinion.
Give it a go and enjoy!?

Sorry for the late review.
Played this course 6/6/14 @ 7:20 a.m., while on our bi-annual trek to Laughlin.
Temps this day reached a dry heat/pleasantly breezy/sunny 104.
Coolers on each cart. No GPS. A couple water stations throughout. I don't recall seeing ball washers on the carts or throughout the course, so be sure to wet your towel.
Beautiful fully equipped clubhouse. Driving range/practice green were great; BUT the practice bunker was Horrible (full of rocks - which we found indicative of the bunkers out on the course!) Two Thumbs Down for the Bunkers! :(

Tee boxes and fairways were EXCEPTIONAL!!!, green, and in stellar condition.
Rough directly off the fairway was very playable. BUT, stray from the beautiful fairways/rough, and you'll be lucky to find your ball from the flowers/desert shrubbery.

This is certainly one of my fav courses in the Bullhead City area. We got a decent rate as we were staying at one of the hotel/casinos across the river (played for $45 w/cart)
Fairways are a little tight and long hitters need to plan their shots carefully, taking the winds that are typical for these courses, into careful consideration.

Pace of Play was AWESOME...almost as if we had the course all to ourselves. A twosome went out in front of us (they wanted to play just the two of them...no worries), and within 3 holes they were gone!

Greens were a little confusing as they looked like a combination of two types of grass?? A green/brown, criss cross grain? Rolled pretty true though - Not a lot of ball marks. Somewhat hard/firm, and balls could easily hit on/roll off the back if too aggressively addressed. Medium/Fast Speeds.

Overall for summertime...this course didn't disappoint. Reasonable rate/Great customer service, nice practice area, and beautiful clubhouse. A must play while in the area. Love Love Love this course.
