Course is in outstanding condition. From the tees to the fairways to the rough to the greens, they have really got the course dialed in right now.

I really like the layout of this course. It was one of the gems when it first opening. However, it has suffered from some serious neglect since then. The fairways and tee boxes were in awful shape when I played. Many bare and chewed up spots on the fairways and the tee boxes were shaggy, not level and/or divot damaged. The sand traps were also very inconsistent. Of the three that I was in, one had very nice sand in it and the other two were as hard as a rock. The greens were in great shape as always and the rough was also nice as well. If they want to continue to charge the prices that they do, there are much better values out there than Eagle Glen.

Fairways, rough and traps were in great shape. Greens were the worst condition that I have ever seen them. Multiple greens had some bare spots and were quite lumpy. Also, it seemed as if our foursome was being chased by the groundkeepers for the whole back nine. Not the most pleasant thing to have happen to you when you have to pay holiday rates on a weekday (President's Day).

I remember when the green fees weren't quite as steep. The course was in excellent shape, but you tend to expect a high level of customer service when you pay this price as well, especially considering that the price has gone up so much. Trilogy is a real nice track, but they've got some work to do on the PR side to make people believe that they should be paying the prices that they are now paying.

Course is in great shape. The fairways were excellent and the greens rolled great. The front nine was a little on the slow side as far as pace was concerned, but it really picked up nicely on the back. This course can't be beat when you take the price and the quality of the course into account.

Course was a little more beat up than I am accustomed to. Some bare spots in just about all areas, but we've had some rough weather out here lately. The wind was howling today, which made the course that much more difficult.

Played a 4.5 hour round with an 8:50 tee time on Saturday. Greens are recovering pretty well from the aeration, although there are some spots that are getting a bit brown. In fact, I would say the course in general was a bit more brown than usual, but that could definitely be a product of all of the heat the area has been getting lately.

Played on Friday 8/8. Took a little over 5.5 hours to play a round that started at 10:39. That was very troublesome. The greens and the fairways had some spots that were real bare. The layout is awesome and the staff there are extremely helpful and professional. I just expect a course of that price to be in pristine condition and it definitely was not on this date. I'll reserve complete judgement until I come back to the course again.

Rustic Canyon is more enjoyable every time I play it. The layout makes it a unique golf experience. Fairways and rough were in great shape. Greens were nice, but some were starting to suffer from ball marks not being repaired. Finished the round in about 4 hours 15 minutes, although it could've been quicker. Hint for picking your set of tees: pick them correctly. This course will punish you if you think you are the man and you really aren't. It will also severely slow down the pace of play.

Played Stonehouse and Creek on 6/28/03. Stonehouse was almost completely back from aeration, although a few of the greens were actually a little shaggy. Creek was still recovering: both the greens and the fairways. I considered the Stonehouse layout to be more enjoyable than the Creek. Rough was pretty thick which put high value on accuracy off of the tee. Like the course and will come back again when the course has fully recovered from aeration.

Except for the sand on some of the tee boxes, the course was in great shape. Greens were firm and fast, but they roll so well. Fairways were in awesome shape. Rough was high enough to be penalizing. The sand in the bunkers was excellent as well. Spoke to the gentleman in the proshop and he said the reconfiguration of #17 will happen as soon as they get "some approvals." Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done.

Finally played this course on 6/5/03. Great course! I love the layout. Fairways and rough were in excellent shape. Except for a few of the par 3's, the tee boxes were in good shape. The greens were firm and fast. I did see too many ball marks on the greens and the collars of the greens. I felt like I was fixing marks all day. This did not take away from my overall enjoyment of the course. This has got to be the best bargain in Southern California golf.
