Played 10-18 as single. Went out about 11:30 am. Passed a 4some and had clear sailing until back 9. Still pace was great. Lot of blind shots, so hard to score well as was my first time here. Greens were in good shape, avg speed. Fairways were thin, patchy. Have nice combos of sets of tees, e.g., you can play a gold/blue set, which is shorter than the golds, longer than the blues, with its own rating/slope. Couple of par 3s were only 120+ yds. from the blues, which made for some satisfying pars. If hit poor shot, can lose ball in underbrush or ponds. I had my own gps which is essential as carts do not. Layout of holes reminded me a bit of Hidden Valley in Norco. No cart for beverages. Water coolers on some tee boxes. Green fee for seniors reasonable. Will return some day.

Played 10-4. Started about 10 am. Drizzle kept most people away. So quiet and pace was perfect. No one in front or behind us. Finished in 3:45 hours. Back 9 was sunny so we took off our rain gear. I was in one bunker with water in bottom. Fairways and greens held up fine and weren't soggy. Greens were a little slower than on a dry day. Fun to play a deserted course that's usually so busy.

Teed off just after noon. 1/2 of greens punched 2 days ago, but no mention of this in Greenskeeper aeration alerts. Was told other 1/2 to be done in couple weeks. Still, pin was on non-punched 1/2, so putting was OK. Tee boxes were good, and fwys thin, but still had green grass. Bunkers had some loose sand in them, although back g/s trap on #9 had wet, mud-like spot to hit out of. Pace was excellent, finished in 4 hours. Sr. discount rate a real treat.

Made a 10 am tee time for a Wed. Pro shop forgot to tell our group that range doesn't open on Wed. until 10 am. They said most players just go out and not hit range balls, so they don't care range is closed. But, we do. After some discussion, they agreed to let us start late so we could hit some balls first. We had 50% off discount, but they charged $10 additional for carts. Why aren't carts included in green fee? Would be long uphill walk between 9th green and 10th tee box. Course has some narrow holes, where OB happens to us high handicappers. Several holes were cart path only. Makes it guesswork for distances; best to bring extra clubs to ball. Greens were very quick. Looked like they had been punched about a month ago. 131 slope from blues is a stern test. Not worth paying full rate, but OK w/ discount.

Started just after 10 am. Fairways were mowed and rough was not real thick. Half of greens had been punched a few weeks ago and were about 10 days from being back to smooth. Still just a little sandy and bumpy. Some of the bunkers were hard pan, but OK. Pace was fine. Pro shop sez other half of greens will be punched (in 2-3 weeks?) once the first half has fully recovered. Wind was down so not as much of a factor as a few days ago. Course is a challenge but can score well if short game is solid.

Played the new 18 hole setup for the first time. They've taken Holes 1 - 9 from the old Riverside course for the new front 9. The back nine is Riverside holes # 10, 11 and 18, then onto Orange course Holes # 9-13 and 18. The fairways were in a little better shape. The green were hard and on the slow side. To attract golfers they have some lower than before green fees. We started on time, and although it felt like we waited on the group ahead of us, we still finished in less than 4 1/2 hours. Enjoyed the round and will be back.

Great day, cool, little breeze, greens were smooth and fast. GPS on carts is very helpful. I like the variety of holes, e.g., the big tree in the middle of 10's fairway, the long downhill tee shot over the ridge on 6 left of the fairway flag, & the stay right of the lake on 15's tee shot. Busy for a Monday, 5 hour round, but pace picked up after first 4-5 holes. Sand in bunkers in good condition, not too hard. Range is well cared for. Birthday deal: pay for cart only.

Played today, started as single at about noon and finished as 3-some by 3:15. Very quick pace. Fairways newly cut and fairly even. Greens were fast, as usual. Bunkers were fluffy, not hard pan as at other munis. GPS on carts makes a personal one almost superfluous. But, there were 4-5 cart path holes only where my GPS was useful. 17th green was very wet, mushy, over-watered. Wind was factor on front 9, esp. hitting into it on no. 3, par-5. Great price, pace and conditions.

Played on Th. starting at 1:30 p.m. Course in good condition. New clubhouse has friendly atmosphere. Hole 18 par-3 has been shortened considerably as green now used for practice. New green moved up at least 50 yds. Greens difficult to read, but in decent shape. Sand in bunkers good consistency. Round took 5 hours, but didn't seem too long. Great price on GolfNow.com. Will return much sooner so interval between rounds here not as long as 1-2 years.

Played in 4some for front 9. 2 guys were scratch, playing black tees. Me and other guy playing golds. Pace worked out OK for awhile. Then my partner quit after 9 holes. Other 2 left me in the dust on back 9. One of them was to play in amateur tournament here next day. They played through a 4some still on the tee box at no. 12, par 3, without telling me what they were doing. I figured it out, teed off, then chipped on after short tee shot. As I walked to green they were already putting out and heading to next tee box. Sorry to hold you guys up! Following foursome joked to me, "Hurry up," as I ran back to my cart after my quick 2-putt. Tried to keep pace, but couldn't, so called it a day after no. 14. Next time will ask starter to not put me as higher handicapper with par golfers who won't show courtesy to us average Joes in their group.

1:30 p.m. tee time, in a 2some, pace was fine, though had long wait on #8, finished by 5:45 p.m. Criticisms are valid: fairways very thin & chewed up, w/ uneven, bare tee boxes. Sand in traps meager and very hard. Greens lush, slow, with many ball marks, but most of them repaired. For discount price on a Tues., & forgiving fairways, well worth the round. Very enjoyable.

Started at 2 p.m. as a single walk-on at reasonable senior rate. Pace was decent today, about 4 3/4 hours. Fairways freshly mowed, only a few bad spots from cart damage, or bare patches. Greens also rolled true, except No. 13 chewed up on left side where flag located. Rough was gnarly, punitive trying to hack out. Sand in bunkers hard from recent overnight rain; saw big puddle in one trap. On No. 17, looks like bunker on left side is being expanded or grass being resod? Front half may be playing as waste area. Flat course makes for good walk.
