Tee 0700 four ball 3+55. Well presented and manicured layout. All aspects in good to great condition. Greens quite receptive for early start, moderate pace and smooth, quickening in the morning heat to about 11. Sand very good. Drinks cart attendance frequent and all staff very friendly and helpful. Some very good deals available right now. Go play.

What a relaxing Friday afternoon from 11:11 tee time for the four of us. Very easy pace on 4 hours on a well presented layout, with lush conditions. Greens are a little slow, allowing the grass to grow due to the heat coming in the next few days. They held very well and were true. Tees, fairways, rough and sand all good. Playing the South/West was a fun challenge off blue tees during a warm day. No drinks cart today (?) and deals now allow unlimited play. Worth it.
The rough is today being scarified and fairways begin tomorrow, in preparation for bermuda grass growth promotion.

Four of us hit our tee shots at 1040 Tuesday April 23; finished in 4 hours. Following up on previous review, this time the greens had been watered a bit more and were a little greener than brown. But, still very firm and running fast and mostly smooth but not holding.
I did witness several surfaces with bare/brown patches ON the green, so I think we are working on transitioning to the summer grass. The remainder of the course presented extremely well being lush, green and well manicured. Sand was good, as were the tees. Fairways were fast but still lush, and rough is lush and around 2 inches.
Tremendous layout played a good challenge for us on the 95* day, with good drinks cart attendance and solid Troon service throughout.
Loved the happy hour(s).

I guess it is the change of seasons. Rye being allowed to die off and promotion of the return of bermuda. Not what I expected from the status of Classic Club.
As always, service is world class. Facilities first class. Layout is exceptional with all the challenge you need from any tee. The transition from winter to summer grasses though must be tough on maintenance. Rough is still kind of 'ok'. Some bare patches and blotches of green seeping through. Fairways are very good; running long, thinning but still ok to hit off. Sand was disappointing and not up to its usual standard; quite shallow and thin. Greens were browning and crusty, just being verticut/sanded recently, but rolled true and firm. Speed was medium. Other aspects need to be waited upon regarding presentation. Took some guests there ; they enjoyed the course and we enjoyed the happy hour after. For this time of year worth it with a deal only. May try it next week again to confirm.

Our four ball was met by the friendly cart staff, quick check in and warm up, saw us tee off 30 mins early just before noon, Wed April 17. Only 3+45 later we successfully navigated the pleasant layout that was in great condition except bunkers.
With recent wind storms the bunkers have been evacuated of sand resulting in hard pan, rocky lies throughout; soon to be remedied.
Greens are as good as ever, if not a bit firm. Everything else in very good shape. Did not see a drinks cart today. Worth a look and have fun.

An easy going 4 hour round with visitors and all of us enjoyed the pristine presentation. Superb prac-fac, nice staff and excellent facilities awaits the player to play as much challenge as they feel on the day. Lush, manicured, fast firm greens and solid history in this world class club. Worth a look.

So I just looked up in the dictionary, the definition of a pleasant golf day, and there was this picture of these four fine gentlemen who golfed today at Eagle Falls!!! An enjoyable, easy 4 hours of solid golf.
Thanks to Thingstodo, SBogey, Jerry64 for your kind company, and your effort in driving the distances, to witness an expertly presented Clive Clark layout of green carpet in the desert. Mid 80's in a light breeze welcomed us, as did the very nice staff.
Eagle Falls does such a nice job with golfer attention from the friendly, knowledgeable staff at the bag drop, through to the competent pro shop staff, and the F&B service off and on the course.
Expansive prac-fac warms you up for a treat once you are ready, and some good tips from the starter, before your journey.
I shall leave more comments from fellow GKers above but it was hard for me to find fault with any aspect of the course.
It seems to me that it is also priced perfectly for this time of year for such an experience.

Having noticed the course had not been reviewed/rated for THREE!! years, we made the 'sacrifice', found a deal, and launched for a noon tee time. Be aware there is no range, only warm up nets, chipping and putting green. Also, the nines have been reversed to provide a better flow through to the clubhouse. We had not played here since before management changed and re-opened, and modifications taken place to the layout.
I was impressed.
There has been significant work done on bunkering mounds, and especially greens contouring; makes it more interesting and appealing aesthetically.
Mostly, maintenance is quite apparent. All grasses were lush and thick. Rough was tough. Some areas close to 5 inches, but yet nicely cut to that length. All sand was soft and airy, with good contours to the walls. Fairways were lush, running, easy to hit from with a few bare patches. Greens complexes were expertly trimmed and mown. Surfaces were firm-'ish' and fast, but rolled smoothly but hard to hold; some bare patches witnessed. Pace was good. For an active club, only 4 hours of engaging, cruising golf. Very nice staff throughout with good food at the comfortable bar/grill.
Really worth a look with a deal.

On Tuesday 4/9, four of us teed off at 3pm, on a busy course with steady 8 minute tee times. Through good marshaling and disciplined golfers, we still finished in 3+50 in the cool desert evening breeze.
Customer service is first class all around. Expansive prac-fac, balls included.
Tees:good. Fairways lush and running long; easy to hit from. Rough: very sensible length (1.2"), lush and promotes speed of play. Collars around greens expertly manicured and trimmed/lush. Greens were a little slow today due to the winds here the last few days, so the grass is a little longer, but smooth and true. Sand appeared very nice, but I escaped it all day. Good layout, drinks cart passes and a fun round. Ample deals exist on many websites.
Give it a go.

On a quiet day both of us got around on a 3 hour pace from noon. Simply put: immaculate greens. All other grasses were well maintained and manicured. Sand was good and ample. Tees well kept and used but sufficient size. Fairways were lush and quick; easy to hit off of as is the rough. Fair layout, good service and facilities. Good deal this time of year.

Even though it took only 5hrs 25 min to play today from 10:05, what a place to spend the time, with a fun foursome. Terrific layout and heaps of challenge. Nice facilities and staff throughout; AND brand new golf carts (no GPS).
Greens fast, but holding ok and mostly smooth. Fairways were quick, and a mixture of grasses. Same with the approaches and collars which included some blotchy patches of poa/bermuda?? Sand was fine, but I did slice down to the liner in one of them due to lack of sand thickness. Rough is semi dormant (see kviser below) and some greening peaking through. What a great track to live near enough to play regularly. Should be a blast for the GK event.

Our own golf course today. No one wants to play in 40 mph wind; can't understand.
Conditions are as good as ever, lush, and well presented. Solid 3 par track and worth it.
