Played Sat 02/09. Like gmoore91106 said, course is undergoing an extensive reconstruction. First we could not figure out why there were people on our fairway. But after few holes, they didn't bother us at all. Greens are very good. Bunkers are OK. It was just a beautiful day to play golf that nothing bother us at all. We were all happy to be out. This is short course but has well placed fairway bunkers and green side bunkers to give you some challenge.

Played Sat 02/02/08. This course use to be PGA Southern Calif and now changed their name to East Valley Golf Club. Two 18 holes Courses, Legends & Champions. Both courses are in great shape. Bit cold but luckly no winds. Greens are in great condition, GK rating 8.5. Fairways are awesome. Both courses have many well placed fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers. Sands are OK, could be softer with warmer weather. They use to have $5 replay special which was great deal. Gave us incentive to spend more than three hours on the road to play here. Now they raise the rate to $20 which is still good.
Anyway, this is great course to visit if you never played here. I would recommend to get there early and play at least 27 holes.
To East Valley Gold Club, thank you and keep up the good work!
Bring back the $5 replay rate once a while.

Played 12/31. Fairways are alright with some bare spots. Greens are normal speed. Bunkers are bit bare and hard. Need to put more sands. Pace is slow as always. They just remodeled the clubhouse and it looks very nice. I give GK rating 5.5

Played on Christmas eve. First time playing the Champions course. Awesome! Loved the layout. Compare to Legends course, this course seems like has more bunkers. You see more houses around the course but that doesn't really distract you from playing. Fairways are great. Greens are normal to fast. Just AWESOME! Two Big Thumbs up!
Can't wait to play here again. Both Champions and Legends courses are in very good condition. $50 special + $5 replay is a steal.
Hope the new management will keep up the good works. GK rating 9.5

Played Sat 12/01. They just raised the fee to $62 with carts. This is well maintained and managed course. Staffs are very nice. You can get good scores just playing with irons. They have many short par fives. Fairways were very good. Few bare spots. Greens are normal and soft. Watch for mountain breaks. Bunkers are in good. Can't complaint about the course. Green fees are bit higher side compare to other courses around the areas. I give GK rating 6.5 but only three stars for worth the green fee.

Played 11/23 Friday. Course is in very good shape. This is very fun course to play. Lots of changes of elevation. Back nine is especially fun from hole 13 ~ 15. I think hole 13 is the signature hole for this course, long par 3 with hazard to the right. Greens are normal to fast on some greens. Many ball marks. Had to fix many ball marks on every hole. Please fix your ball marks. Bunkers are in decent shape. I give GK rating of 7.5.

Played on turkey day, Ridgeline/Canyon Crest. I haven't played here almost a year. Beautiful views and the courses are very nice. Fairways are in great shape. Greens are fast and well placed pin placements. Greens are also well protected with bunkers. Thumbs up for the golf courses. Couple of recommendations to the managements.
1. When you charge more than $100, you can afford to give out bottle waters. How much does it cost for a bottle of waters? Last time they did, but now they only give out to members only. Don't be too greedy.
2. Replay fees. Charging more than $50 to replay the course is somewhat OK. But charging same price to replay just the 9 holes are little too expensive. You should have some special prices to play all 27 holes.

Played Sat 11/17. It was a Beautiful day to play on a beautiful golf course with good friends. Fairways were in excellent condition. Greens were firm and fast. Little hard to fix the ball marks. Have some difficulties reading the greens. Looks like there would be some breaks but didn't. Bunkers were regular very thin soil... no sands. That was the only downside. Other than that, everything were in excellent condition. There were not many OB areas thus you should able to hit your driver with ease. There are many green side bunkers but you shouldn't let them pressure you. If you are unsure, just take one club up and should be alright. They have $5 replay which is just awesome. Wish we could have replayed. Staffs were very nice. Cart girl was also nice. I give GK rating of 9.0 If they put some sands into their bunkers, I will give 9.5 to 10. Anyhow, thumbs up for PGA southern calif.

Stay & Play package deal & play on 11/12. We played Stonehouse and Creek. Stonehouse was fun course to play. Many changes of elevations - hilly course. Nice view. Creek was just flat course. It help us to rest a bit because it was cart path only during this week and Stonehouse course made us walk a lot. Overall courses were in very good condition. Staffs were very nice. Only negative part was that they informed me that there is no cart path only starting Monday when I made the reservation. But staff was nice enough for us to ignore the mistake. Rooms were with fairway view which was very nice to wake up to. Definitely will go back to play the Oak & Stonehouse.

Played Sat 11/03. First time playing this course. Initial thought was very wide fairways and greens and should be pretty easy to score a low score round. I was very wrong... :-( The whole layout was pretty deceiving. There were enough surprises once we get to our ball locations. Most difficult time we had was where we should be aiming our tee shots. Once you know the course layout, this course should not be very difficult course. Of course, you might have to fight the strong winds once a while. Fairways are very good. Greens are firm and very hard to fix your ball marks. Many undulating greens. Many environmental sensitive areas where you cannot retrive your balls even you can locate them. I think it was hole 16, Do NOT aim your tee shot to the left of the fairway. We thought that was the short cut to the green if we just hit over the left slope we see from the tee box. We were wrong once again, there was no fairway but environmental sensitive area ... you see so many balls that you think you are right next to a range area. I had 10 over my regular handi cap. Was I mad? No, I had good time. Knowing that next time when I play here I should have pretty decent score with little knowledge of the layout. Good course but I don't think it worth the green fee. I give GK rating 6.5 ~7.0.

Played 10/27 Sat. Fairways are in good shape. Bunkers were not too good. One was wet and another was hard soil. Greens are very soft and speeds are bit slow. Nothing to brag about except they did renovated the bathrooms. I give 5.5 GK rating.

Played here Sat 10/20. Greens have healed very nicely. Speeds are normal. Fairways are in great shape. Bunkers are also in very good shape. Soft enough to hit a bunker shot. Weather was just great! Pace was bit slow but we were enjoying the beautiful weather.
Life is good... Few of tee boxes were moved up due to tournaments.
Good customer service. Give GK rating 8.5.
Hope we could have another beautiful day this Saturday.
