I played here on Friday the 13th...The course, you can tell is being prepped for over-seeding. The fairways and rough are getting dormant (low watering), but playable and maintained. The greens are still rolling good. The bunkers have been kept up nicely with good quality sand in them.
The course is always fun and challenging to play. They will re-open Oct 30th. So I expect it to be back to top Quality again!

I played here on Friday, Oct 6th, on a free birthday round.
The course in very good shape.
The tee boxes are flat and level, with minimum divots. The fairways where cut tight and the conditions where excellent, with minimal brown spots. They did have the course well watered. The rough was very low. I could find my ball and it was easy to advance any shots in the rough.
The bunker sand is really fine and and easy to swing through, no pebbles or stones to scar your clubs. The greens seemed to have been aerated within a week or so, the ball rolled a little slow, but not too bad. The ball does hold its line, and you will get a true roll, if you give the putt a good firm stroke.
Like always I do recommend this course, because of the 2 course options, you can usually get on , but sometimes POP can be long. I did finish in about 4 hours, but that was a Friday morning.

I played here last Friday, 9-22-17. The service and accommodations here are very good. We had 16 players, so we got a group rate of $35, plus they gave us a $10 food voucher. It also included range balls. The conditions where really good , we had so perfect golf weather too (68* at 8 AM.) The tee boxes are flat and level, with minimal to no divot damage.
The fairways are firm and well groomed. You will have good lies throughout the course.
The rough was a bit long, about 3" along the banks of the water channel, so balls will not roll into the channel, the caveat is, if you don't see your ball land, it is VERY difficult to find. The rough opposite the water channel was at a good playable length, 1 1/2" -2". The bunkers are well placed throughout the course, if you hit too long, you may be in a bunker, if you hit too wide , left or right of the green, you may be in a bunker. The greens roll true, but a bit slow to what I am us to, but after a couple of holes, I adjusted. This is a links style course, so a few of the players where commenting, "where are the trees" LoL, I enjoyed this course. It is a strategic course, because of the design.

For a private course, this place is way below par. conditions are so bad. greens are good, but course is always dry and dead spots throughout the course. You do get extra bounce, from the hard fairways. Short course for good pitch and putt. Don't expect a real golf experience here. Locally, play Brookside .

Played here Sunday with my tournament club. We asked our group officer to confirm that the course was in good condition, because we had seen on GK that they had gone through MAJOR maintenance. The tournament director said it is in great shape...LIAR. Starting from the tee boxes, they where beat up and had so many dry out patches and major divots. They where also uneven lie on most of the tee boxes. The fairways had major GUR, but not marked, because they would have had to spray paint the whole fairway! The greens where okay, but slow, like very slow. If your putter is a sledgehammer, you could have got your ball to hold its line. the bunkers where playing like hard packed, concrete filled craters. I don't think I will come back here again. I was very disappointed with the overall conditions, because of the LIE. If these tournament directs would be more upfront and honest, I would respect that he says it is in major growth pattern, after re-seeding or maintenance, not tell us it is in great shape, when it is not.

I played here yesterday, 9-10-17. Had a 12:05 PM start time, but since it was not crowded, we where able to start at about 11:20.
The course layout if so much fun a challenging, the conditions where good, but not outstanding like usual. The fairways and rough where a bit brown, due to the excessive heat we've had for the last couple of weeks.
The fairways where moved tight and firm, some bare spots throughout the course. The rough was at a very playable length. The bunkers has good quality sand, but make note there are a lot of bunkers throughout the course, which adds the challenge and beauty of the course.
The greens where a bit slower than usual, but rolled true. I did see a few hole with some fungus spots and dried out areas.
POP was a casual 4 hours, nobody pushing from behind until the 17th hole. It was a good day of golf.

I got a great opportunity to play in the Greenskeeper Guru special yesterday. I played with other Guru's, Mike, Steve and Blake. The course was outstanding condition, we played right behind the PGA Chapter Championship tournament. The overall course was in super shape for summer hot temps (99*). The tee boxes where nice and firm, and minimal divots damage. The fairways where cut very tight and gave my ball some extra roll , if you land in the fairway that is...The rough was very short, so missing left of right was not really a penalty to try to recover. It was probably 1/2 to1" on most of the course, but an occasional 1 1/2 - 2 " . The bunkers where firm with good quality sand in it. The greens where rolled and cut tight to roll true and fast. The practice area is so complete with a couple of chipping areas, huge putting green, and the range is hit off of grass, like the golf course, not the plastic mats, like a lot of golf courses have. My foursome where awesome guys, we had a good time and had all the space to play at our own pace (yesterday)
This is a must play track, the service is top notch and very courteous. See you all real soon!

I played here on Saturday. I have the Players Advantage card. I was booked for 12:12PM. My playing partner and I got there about an hour early, and was able to start at about 11:25AM.
The course was not busy, maybe because of the weather. There was nobody in front for at least 4 holes and the foursome behind us was about 2 holes back. The course was in top notch condition, maybe few dry spots throughout the course, but mostly great lies. The fairway was mowed tight with nice lies. The rough was low, about 1/2" - 1". The tee boxes had a few hackers in front of us, and did not fill their divots, but mostly firm and flat with good lies. The sand bunkers had good quality sand, I know because I was in a few...The greens rolled nice and true. There are a few holes with elevated greens, and undulations. A definite MUST Play.

I played here last weekend, the winds where pretty strong, with gusts of 25-30 MPH.
The fairways where in super condition, like hitting off of carpet, with a lot of undulation. The course is out lined with the red clay gravel, so if you hook, your hitting from the surface. There is a lot of trouble throughout the course, but mostly playable.
The bunkers are firm, with good quality sand. The bunkers are strategically placed throughout each hole. The greens where my only negative feed back, they are SLOW, like really SLOW! They where just aerated. I diffidently will play here again, but I hope the greens are rolled and grown in next time.

I played this course on Sunday, I just played Valley on Saturday.
They two course are so different. Palm has a lot of water/lakes and bunkers, all throughout the course. The fairways are rolling with deep swells as high as 15 feet, if your ball is on the down side of the mound. The palm has a lot of elevated greens. So it takes a club or two to reach the green, also depending on the direction of the wind. The fairways are in nice firm condition. The rough is long, so don't go there(2-3") The bunkers surround a lot of the greens and they are deep! There a water on a lot of the holes, so you have to be smart, when playing on this course. The greens are slow, like really slow, because they just aerated and sanded the greens.the putts rolled true, but slow! They should be okay in about 2 weeks. I would play this course gain, I enjoyed the palm over the valley, because it is challenging. My playing partner hated the palm, because he could not approach easily, because he got lies that where down sloped or ball above his feet, or ball below his feet...I call it golf. The valley was a bit more flat in the fairways in comparison. I would play here again, I like the layout.

Played here on an Under Par special. Got on about 10:10, and it was starting to get hot. The golf course is in really good condition, except the greens, they are healing right now.
The fairways are firm and tightly mowed. The rough was a bit long nearly 2-3". If you get in there, it takes a good whack to advance your ball a good distance. The golf course is pretty wide open, so errant shots are easier to recover from to the green. The bunkers are firmly packed, but good quality sand.
The Greens! Wow!! where they slow, they just aerated probably about 1-2 weeks ago. they had sand filled. If you are us to slow muni type greens, you'll be okay. they did roll true, but WOW are they slow!
I would play this course again, in fact I play 36 on Saturday. I think they had great customer service; easy bag drop and pick up zone. Many employees there have been there for some 20 years or more.

I played here on May 16, 2017. The course was in OUTSTANDING condition. The tee boxes are firm and level, some of the par 3 tee boxes did have some big divots. The course was very lush and green, the are also firm, so a good low flighted shot will run an additional 15-20 yards. The rough was a playable length, about 1" - 1 1/2". There are a lot of bunkers throughout the course, so you will land in at least one. The sand is firm packed, but you can slide your club threw the sand. The greens are rolling really fast. The firm greens and tightly mowed greens = FAST, but true rolling. There are a few hole with some multi-tiers. The practice facility is really nice. Huge practice putting area, nice short game area for pitching and chipping. Highly recommend course to play.
