Played Highland Meadows for the first time 8-25-2010. I had heard alot about the course and found it all to be true. The fairways are wide and well manicured the greens are large and depending on pin placement tough but there are no trees to get in the way of errant shots. The greenside bunkers can be a little deep on certain holes and the fairway bunkers are well placed. I found the greens to be mostly soft however they were also on the fast side and some of them had multi tiered sections. In fact a couple of the holes had super large greens but with the pin placement you really had to study the break. The water hazzards were mostly on the front nine and then really they would not come into play unless you had a really bad errant shot. I found this course to be well worth the green fee and the staff very friendly and helpful to all your needs. There is a driving range however it is located a little far from the club house to use it you need to arrive early enough. Highland Meadows is a great course that you must play when visiting this area of Northen Colorado.
