Good and fun golf course, with very nice greens that roll true. The key to playing this course is keeping the ball below the hole. A lot of slope to the green, in most cases, being short of the green is a good thing. Much easier to leave an uphill putt. A lot of the holes are cut in areas that are not too flat.

Nice firm fairways gives way to good long drives. Wind can swirl, or at times seem to be absent when they're in fact not! I felt my approach shots usually required a half of club more.

Hole Notes - #2, says its the 18th HDCP Hole, but on the tee box its #1. Keep the ball left of the pin at all times. God forbid you go in the front buncker, however, there is more room between the green and the bunker than appears from the tee box.

#18, Tee shot is critical for a good 2nd. STAY RIGHT OF THE BUNKERS UNLESS YOU CAN CARRY THE BALL 280 IN THE AIR! If you're in the fairway bunkers, or left, there is no shot and you'll be playing plinko until the green. Keeping right may add distance or make the green unreachable in two, but it sets you up for having a nice 3rd shot in on the tricky par 5.

The price is right for a really good test. You don't feel like you're overpaying.

I used the golfshot rangefinder on my iPhone and felt the distances were accurate.

The course has more Canadian Geese than golfers, and there are a lot of golfers too. GOOSE sh$t IS EVERYWHERE! The course played easy with no wind on the front nine, but gets tough when the wind picks up. Can play as two different courses.

The Pace of play was very slow, waiting on most shots when teeing up after 10am on a weekend. The group behind us had a very pissy golfer who thought we were slowing the course down, although we waited too, so he was fun to laugh at. Overall not worth 60.00 bucks if you have to drive out of your way to play there.
