Played North/South today from 12:24 in 4+15, only three of us. Two different 'courses' as the greens on North are very fast and firm. South are soft, receptive and slower. Both were manicured very well and nicely presented with lush conditions. Tees, sand, fairways and rough all good. Generally a good overall resort layout with good facilities and service. No drinks cart today, good pace and easy going day. Have a look with a deal, this time of year.

Played today South/West in four hours 4 ball, from 10:00, following a shotgun, and still only 4 hours. Good work to John and the friendly staff for great hospitality.
Solidly good conditions on these nines on a flowing resort layout in lush shape.
Greens were medium to slow speed but very smooth, and holding well. Really can't find much wrong for a perfect winter day in the desert. Very active club and good facilities.

Overall Good conditions tees through greens. West closed.
North open/South Cart path only. Our round 4+40 on a busy day, teed off 15 minutes late.
Easy pace, good conditions with no complaints (not great/not fair=good). Everywhere lush and green and good maintenance evident.
Lots of drinks cart passes, ok layout with moderate challenge.
With a deal, worth it.

Course was fun once we got on. We waited over and hour past our scheduled tee time and none of the staff seemed to care. Very disappointed and will not go back.

We played West/North Monday 22 Oct @10;00 as a two ball. Pace was on 4 hours, and busy enough.
South is closed for seeding.
Can't rate the 18 because of drastic differences.
I will say West at Fair: 4/10 due green crustiness/dryness and some damage. Most other aspects were fine.
The North is Good: 6.5/10 as it was reseeded first and all aspects of presentation much better.
Staff great. Prac-fac good.

Played here yesterday (Sunday Jun 24th) with three other buddies, one who is the member there. The summer heat has really taken its toll on the greens. Some were so burned that there was bare dirt showing. Really displeased with the course and conditions here, especially for a course that cost $70 to the general public. The fairways were the best part of the course and still marginal at best. Greens that were ok were super slow....maybe 6-7 on the speed at best and never improved through out the round. We played the South / North course as the West was closed for the day. The layout is fun if the course was in a better shape. Built in a ravine with lots of elevation changes and approach shots that are tough and interesting. All in all I give it a 4/10 as far as overall. Maybe after late summer punching and seeding the course will be 10X better.

I know the summer sun in the desert takes it toll.....but the course where we were staying (Shadow Ridge) was in excellent shape and gets more sun that the other course.

All sand good, tees cored recently, layout fine for a good workout for most of your clubs. golfnow.com hot deal at $29. Good staff and F&B, with fine prac-fac. Worth a look.

Played this course on 5-14-12, the heat kept most golfers at home, but the 7:04 tee time ensured we would miss most of the harsh sun, was in the car at 1045, so the pace was good. Service at this club has always been good, and continued to be good on this day. No drink cart passes, but the window was open at the turn.

The tee boxes on the course were fairly beat up, and several of them were quite un-level. The boxes were wide enough to move the markers around without having to be on a unlevel spot, but apparently on this day thats were they landed.

The fairways were mostly good, I did notice on several holes that their were burned out brown patches. I thought it was a little early in the season to see this. But it did not really affect my play, as I never found my self on one of those patches. Generally the rough was good, some areas were much more lush than others, but fairly even overall.

The greens were not in the best shape on the other hand. They appeared to be cut quite low, but the speed was slow-medium slow. Even downhill puts were coming up short. The green side bunkers were in good shape, nice fluffy sand that allowed for splash out shots.

Overall the course is average for the Palm Springs area, it has one of the lower rates and offers a good warm up round if you are staying in the area for a few days and plan on playing multiple courses.
