Played saturday 12/22/07 before afternoon teed off at 10th tee due to some frost issue told by starter.Right now I can tell to all greenskeeper's buddies that Trilogy of glen ivy's conditions are best ever I played including compared with other best courses over so.cal. Fast speed good rolling & soft receptive greens are splendid .Roughs & tee boxes also no complainable conditions.But fairways showing weird kind of 2 classes of turf very thin looks like dormant but still very playable.The course was semi empty but just front of us we had arrogant & rude 4 some (3 men & 1 woman) never waived us at par 3 caused almost 5 hours round.(From the beggining one of them hitted first tee shot before front group hit 2nd shot,so ball past over their cart looking back surprised but this guy never told or gestured sorry about that ,because maybe they never waived to this rude group consequently this rude group never waived to us.)Good ettiquette on course makes everybody happy,guys!!!!!!!

Played on 11/17, have not been out there in at least two years. Course was in about as good of condition as it gets. Like Cheeseburger said, this course really went down the drain a couple years ago as far as maintenance. That's why I stopped playing there. However, after reading his post, I decided to give it another shot.

Tee boxes and fairways were very, very nice. Rough was not more than a couple inches, three tops...Not really punitive. Greens were in probably as good of shape as they get out there. Rolled about an 8, but not many ball marks.

I think this course is a little overpriced and slow, however, it was in good shape. If you haven't been out there in a while because the conditions got so bad, it is probably a good time to give it another shot.

I know I said that I'd never play Trilogy again due to such poor conditions. Oak Quarry was closed for overseeding and Goose Creek was sold out. My buddy made the starting time, so we didn't have many other options. Played early on Saturday, 10/27/07. The course was not that busy for a Saturday...we had a time of 7:58 - but they asked us if we'd like to go out early. On a Saturday?? Wow! But we wanted to warm up and we didn't have all our guys...so we waited.

The staff is friendly and first-rate!

Minus 1-point for the astroturf mats on the driving range. I hope this is temporary!

I am very pleased to say that the course is in really good shape. The greens, although in need of a good, tight mowing and rolling, we in really good shape. Compared to my last trip to Trilogy, the greens were light-years different. A wee-bit slow...but they held all shots and rolled true.

The fairways were not super lush, but there was good coverage and no major thin or bare spots. Not a lot of divot damage, people seem to be using liberal amounts of the soil/seed mixture provided on the carts.

The rought was not overly long...but you wanted to stay out of it, that's for sure.

It's a good track... and as long as they keep up the current level of maintainance, I'll be sure to include Trilogy Glen Ivy in my rotation.

It's always good to see a good course bounce back from the brink. Good job, Trilogy!

Played on Friday 10/19. Considering the greens had been punched 10 days prior they were in good shape but very slow. There were a few patchy spots in the rough but overall in good shape. The rest of the course is in good shape. The service is excellent. The course has a nice layout and is a fair challenge for all golfers. The Monday through Thursday rate of $55 is reasonable but $65 on Friday is pushing it and $84 on the weekend is over priced (in my opinion). Cost aside, Trilogy is a pleasant experience.

Enjoyed Trilogy although it didn't really make me want to go back too soon. Some nice showpiece holes (18th) but fairways lined all the way with new build houses make it feel very vanilla. Greens were ok, ran better than they looked, but did not inspire confidence. Worth a visit if you get a good deal on the greenfee but other courses in the area are more memorable.

I rated them all as great though because it has been a long time since they were good at all. And the grounds crew has done a very nice job fixing them. Next they need to give some TLC to the rough, this is still a lacking area. And cut the greens a little shorter, still kinda slow. For 35 bucks though good deal!!
