Walked on Sunday morning at 9:30. Had to play as a single. The course was wide open. Eventually caught a 3-some on #9. Greens are in good shape as are the fairways. Some tees could use a little rest. The course itself has some pretty decent holes but a few seem a little tucked inside the property. Looks like they are adding a few new longer tee boxes. Someone’s really trying to improve this course and they are gaining on it. It’s good enough now to recommend playing it.

Somewhat uninteresting course, maintenance ongoing without let up and little or consideration for players. Nearby construction and road noises distracting.

Greens were slower than I remember. Ivanhoe has a much better layout than its sister Monte Vista course. The front nine favors a fade, while the back nine favors a draw. There were a couple of tee boxes that should have been mowed down...I felt like I was hitting out of light rough. The course was surprisingly empty for a Saturday. We got around in a little over four hours. A good course for walking. I like the chipping/practice area that they have. Bring your pills if you have a problem with allergies.

Of the two Cottonwood golf course, I like Ivanhoe better because it’s longer and more wide open then Monte Vista. Played Ivanhoe today and the course is in good shape. Fairways a little thin in spots but everything else good to excellent conditions. I agree with the previous post, 116 is too slow of a slope rating.
