A typical mountain course. Fairway's lined with tall Pine Trees. Except for the first hole, which is pretty narrow, there is a fair amount of room. Mostly a up/back type routing with some minor dogleg L&R. Not a lot of views, but still a nice course to spend some time on. Fairways in very good shape with great coverage. A little on the heavy side which really killed any roll. Rough was closer to the 3" range which could help to keep balls in play, but a little tough to hit out of. Not many traps. most looked wet and compacted. Greens were in so so shape. The first and 7,8 were in bad shape. Guessing from fungus. Mostly patchy dead/ green and UN puttable. The rest were in decent to good shape. Very soft & receptive, even a little on the spongy side. Very slow and the ball really wanted to wonder with the grain. The greens are small with lots of slope making putting a challenge, which appears to be the courses main defense. Hitting nets, chipped green & putting green. Steep price for 9 holes, but you have to consider where you're at. A fun day in a beautiful area. » Close Played 6/13/25 8 am Shotgun. Course was in really great shape. Fairways had very good coverage with ball sitting up. A few GIR mixed around, but seldom caused any issues. They were playing on the firm & fast side with plenty of cushion. Greens were fantastic, but on the slow side. Held shots very well. Noticed a few wobbles and were a tad on the slow side, but they played great. Was not in any traps but they looked firm. T box's mostly great with a few uneven stances. Overall a easy recommend. » Close Played 5/31/25 8:30 am POP 4.45 hrs. First time playing the course and enjoyed it. Some decent views of the bridge, city & bay. Course was in overall very good to great condition. Fairways had very good coverage. An occasional bad spot mixed around but never cause me any issues. Greens were in great shape. They looked and putted like carpet. Held shots well. I struggled with figuring the speeds out. It was most likely me, but some seemed really slow and others much faster. Front nine I struggled to get the ball to the hole and on the back I was blowing it past. Fairly typical tree lined layout. Back nine has a double dogleg par 5 that is almost a U shape. Cutting the corner does not help as much as you might think. Traps firm but in decent shape. Most tees in decent shape with some of them fairly beat up. POP started out fine with a under 2 hr. front even with a 5 some right in front of us and another a few holes in front of them. Back nine was hit and wait. The group in front of us was 1.5 holes behind. This course and policies can easily create 5+ hour rounds. $110 riding including a $25 booking fee. A fun course in good shape. » Close Played 4/25/25 10:30 am $99 POP 3:50. Course is trying to come out of winter and green aeration. Greens were maybe 50% back from punching with lots of sand & punches prevalent. Fairways ultra tight and thin. Starting to green, but many brown & bare patches mixed around. Good ball striking required. I was surprised at the turf conditions. I thought they would be further along in the regrowth. It appeared they were gearing up for some pre summer maintenance and preparation. I really enjoy this course but unfortunately not worth the rack rate at this time. Hopefully in the next month with warming temps the course will be back. » Close
