We’re here in AZ visiting friends. They don’t play golf but their kids do. They were telling me how difficult it is to find a tee time in a course that is not cart path only and this course allowed carts on the fairways. So it was enjoyable to have had along with my first time experience playing here in AZ.
The fairways were lush and almost carpet like covering the whole course which was nice.
The bunkers had sand mixed in with earth clay but it was easy to get out of. I think it was pretty much uniformed though out because the same conditions and consistency was at the back.
The teeing ground were very nice and not chewed up in the back tees (only about 6200- I just want to say it that way because I rarely step in the back anymore haha).
The rough can be an issue in some areas but in general it is not a concern.
The greens were nice and true but slow for my liking and not much undulation at all. It made it a lot of fun for the kids though- I enjoyed it, too.
There was a beverage cart who came around a few times. The service was exceptional and eac one of them was attentive to our needs- easy check in, easy load up on cart, helpful at the shop and restaurant… one thing about the policy was when one of our guys didn’t show up, we were charged for that spot, however that fee is still good to be redeemed for a month period.
