Walked the Blues on dew sweeper patrol with 2 other singles in 3.5H. $26 to walk early. Challenging course to walk, constantly up/down hills.
With more rainfall and being able to concentrate their H2... Continue »

The last par-3. This one can make or break your round. Keeping anything below the hole and away from trouble left will leave you walking off the course with no worse than a bogey.
Account for the elevation change and take off a club or two.
Account for the headwind and add a club or two.
Account for the pin placement, give or take two clubs.
You do the math.
The green is long but receptive. Probably the best par-3 on the course.

Grip it.
And rip it.
Huge scoring chance here with a grat drive. Anything left fairway shortens this already mellow par-5. Anything right is safe but adds about 25-50 yards as the hole takes a hard dog-leg left in the last 100 yards. A backstop and wide green allows for players to be aggressive with their second shot, but it usually plays into the wind and uphill. Coming up short can cost you, but bailing out right is all fairway.
The green has a swale in the front middle portion. This can cause for double breaking putts if putting the width of the green.
