Played a mid-week round on a warm day. The conditions were good. The course seems to be in good condition, in most areas. The mid-week rates are fair. I prefer to walk the course, letting faster cart players play through, although it's a solid day out to walk the 18 holes on this hillside course. The only complaint was grass cuttings on the fairways - I adjusted by playing a preferred lie on the fairways.

Thursday, 0808 tee time 4 ball. This course presented very well on an early start. Lots of maintenance and manicuring has been done these last weeks, and the course is very impressive. Lush conditions throughout, greens quick and holding. The bunkers have been improved with new sand and it is dreamy. Fairways quick, rough reasonable and tees improving. Nice marshalers and disciplined golfers kept the pace just under 4.5 hrs. I love the layout; not a bad hole on the course. Play it this month if possible.
Good pro shop, grill and staff. Enjoy.

Thursday, 0950 tee 4 ball. TODAY this course presented the best I have seen it. Friday 20 May is a members' guest day and tournament, so lots of maintenance has been done these last weeks for this event and the course is very impressive. Lush and manicured conditions throughout, greens very quick and holding. The bunkers have been improved with new sand and it is dreamy. Fairways quick, rough reasonable and tees improving. I love the layout. Play it this month if possible.

After the winter's rains, the course is drying nicely and carts are allowed on fairways this week, but still there is some casual water and damage that will be eventually be remedied. A fair course presentation with good manicuring throughout, and still playing long with soft conditions. Greens healing from coring 10 days ago, fairways coming along, sand ok, tees are tired and not level. The most impressive attraction to this course is the design/layout. Lots of elevation changes and demanding shot making keeps the golfer engaged for the round. It is an active club with good membership, brisk pace and disciplined golfers. No drinks cart today, Tuesday 12 April noon tee time 3 ball. Nice staff and good grill/bar. Green fees very respectable from twilight time, and a very healthy walk!

Not a bad hole on the course. Engaging layout and good vistas. Only good rating is the sand. Tees severely not level, fairways and rough fair- good shape. The greens were recently verticut and marks still visible. Fertilizer on greens made putts bump more and turn off line so putting actually sucked. Plus the greens were bumpy and slow. No drinks cart today, enough rest stations and water on course, fair customer service and modest grill/bar. A well attended course with members playing regularly and a good pace 4+15 for a Thursday 21 Oct 11:10 tee time, senior $30 walking. Suggestion: phone to ask about on course maintenance on the day for sanding, coring, etc, to avoid disappointment.

Good experience overall. Greens sanded today, soft, holding but bumpy and medium speed. Tees severely not level, fairways and rough good shape and sand bunkers very good. Layout is pleasant and a challenge with not much difference between blue and white tees. No drinks cart today, enough rest stations and water on course, fair customer service and modest grill/bar. A well attended course with members playing regularly and a good pace for a Monday 12:25 tee time, twilight $40 riding. Suggestion: phone to ask about on course maintenance on the day for sanding, coring, etc, to avoid disappointment.

Played this locally owned/managed course twice last week. Off first tee right on the reservation time and finished in close to 4.5 hours both days. Good-to-excellent condition from tee to green; it's clear ownership puts a lot of money back into the course. Bunkers are always a good test of maintenance commitment; Indian Valley's are better than some of the local private clubs...clean, deep sand. Picturesque course sited in watershed, no adjacent houses. Only one truly flat hole. Three of the par 3's have substantial elevation change.

Monday 12:35 tee, twilight $26 walking, 4 ball. Easy pace (4.5 hours), good marshalling, staff and F&B. No drinks cart today but sufficient water stations. A modest warm up area, small practice putting green. Layout good challenge, greens soft, bumpy and a bit slow, but good condition. All tees, fairways, rough and sand: Good. Afternoon play is a good deal on a nice course in good shape. Worth a look.

This course used to be a great value till they raised the greens fees this year by about 12 dollars to 36 dollars weekdays. The really great thing about this course is that the greens always put great. They are very smooth and you won't see your ball doing any dances on it's way to to the cup.

The fairways could be better but I'd say they are average with a tendency to get dry and hard as you get to the sides of them. The course is a good variation of hilly and flat and the holes are all unique.

I'd call the 16th hole the signature hole because it is a par five that starts off on a mountain and you hit down to the hole. It narrows about 260 yards down the hill and widens again beyond the trees. There's not a lot of trouble on this hole but the tendency is to swing hard because it looks open. The odd thing about this hole is there is a choice of two greens at the end of the hole. If you play straight to the green it's a stroke of two easier than the elevated green to the right.
