Played 4/29 with a 2 for 1 coupon, the bad news is that they had just sanded every green. Also heard there will be houses going up soon so get out and play this beauty before they ruin it. BTW, even with the greens sanded, its still the best course in the valley. FYI Fretos, it appeard we were the only ones on the course and saw the beverage girl no less than 5 times.

I also played on 4/16, and I would say the course was in good (not great) shape. The tee boxes have not yet recovered from the aeration and the greens were a little thin, although they still held most shots. Way too expensive, but thats Orange County golf for you.

Played 4/1 (no kidding), and the course is in great shape. The greens have recovered from the aeration although they are a little slow, they still putted great. The course is pretty wide open, but when you hit a really bad ball, you will be penalized. Get out and play this course and like Cheeseburger said "its really easy to get to".

Course was in decent shape and very scenic, but the greens were very tricky. This couse is in the middle of no where, so if you want to get away from it all, this is the place. BTW, there was no cell service (Sprint). Also, if you use "click4teetimes", they will try to double charge you so be careful.

Played 3/25 and I'm not exactly sure if I played the same course these guys are talking about, but I was extremly dissapointed. Yes, the course is very nice to look at, but between all the construction equipment, and the construction workers telling everyone how their girlfriend was the night before was a bit too much. Also, there seems to be a lack of yardage markers and our cart was missing the pin location chart. This course has gone downhill since it opened maybe because of the price attracting the higher handicaps. One more thing, the lack of a clubhouse and indoor plumbing is also a bummer. I won't be back for a while.

Played 3/20 and with all the recent rain, the course is in the best condition I have seen here in a while.

The course is fairly short, but what makes this a beauty is the greens. Local knowledge is key. Everything breaks away from the mountains...how much is the question. Staff is very friendly and they just got new electric carts.

The course is in amazing condition. Every putt will be downhill and fast with at least one break. 5 or under handicaps only IMO.

The Legends course is by far the best course in the area. Go to their website and join their mailing list and get discount coupons. I just got one for a weekend round for $42
