Played 5/08/12, Greens smooth , medium fast about 8 or 9 stimped. awesome layout in the foothills. well worth the 29.00$. House's line the course but not in play, unless way off line. Par 71 three par three's on front. Hilly course, up hill and down hill shots. Bunkers not bad a little crusty top layer from water. Nice time.

Excellent course great service from clubhouse to starter's. Bunkers were pristine fairways perfect, some bare spots in the rough but mostly thick and penal. A must play when in town.

Played on the 9th of march, day after weeks of storms. Cart path only but still enjoyed. Great layout, some elevated greens and some down hillers. Greens were the best aspect, firm and fast. Fairways a little mushy in spots. Not the best clubhouse or parking lot but this course, come spring time will be a must play in the eastern sacramento area. I will be back, even with a 2 1/2 hour drive.

First off,like to thank all comments on this course diffenitly not dissapointed what a track. As advertised. Everthings excellent except for the 51/2 hour round. Greens fantastic hole course excellent. If not for David leadbeyter giving lesson in fairway would have been awesome. Now I see why the goose is so well regarded.

Excellent course not much play during week, fairways excellent, greens smooth as silk a must play if your in area. nice practice area, five sets of tees also combo tee, blue and white and red and gold. If you get the twillight rate not bad, 45 vs. 69

This course is really getting some charcter. Trees are starting to come in to play. Fairways are in excellent shape very lush. Greens are large and tilt back to front, so be below hole. Bunkers are better than average, had a fried egg in one today!!! Grass driving range and pratice green near clubhouse. Play blues and gives you more of a challenge. Larry in clubhouse is awsome. Much better than sister course Dryden. For the money a must play.

Old school course small greens alot of bunkers and alot of trees. No water in play but the river on the left on 2thru 4 holes. Greens bumpy and a little slow for my taste. Need to puta little money in course and spiff it up , but not a bad round. stay in fairways to avoid trees. Bermuda fairways are dormant now but still play good. Not best in area but alot of fun to play

Great course, city owned. Greens are huge speed was medium fast. Really a fun course but not that long. Shot makers course. Alot of sand, and water on about 6 or 7 holes. Was a little slow, behind a group of ladies and they were in no hurry but still enjoyed the round, Sister course a cross the freeway which is also alot of fun. If in area should check it out. Coupon for 52$ and lunch.

Very nice as always. Starter very friendly course in excellent shape for early spring, fairways and greens will be plush in about two weeks, greens already excellent. This is a must play in N.C.

Played on sun. second group out. fairways a little sparse this time of year. give a couple of weeks of sun and will be nice. Not a bad course for the amount of play. Has some nice par 3 and most par fours are 400 +. Well worth the 28 to walk
