Played Sunday as single. Didn't have to wait at all. Very empty for Sunday. I was hoping for twilight rate from noon but it starts from 1pm. Fairways are in decent shape. Few bare areas and wet areas. Bunkers are OK. Had tough time with the greens. Bumpy and bit slow. First time walked the course. I always thought it would be very difficult to walk this course due to many changes of elevations. Little tiring on few of the holes but it was OK. Customer service here is just OK. Young guys in the shop are OK but the older gentleman is so so. This is good course to play... few holes with great views.

Played Sunday 12/14. Went in 8:20am as an single. Many people were in the waiting list. One person came in 6:30am but still couldn't tee off. Left and had a hair cut and went back around 10:30 and check my waiting status. They let me out around 10:45am but there was 3-4 groups waiting on the tee box. Able to tee off around 11:30am and finish the round around 4:45pm. Spent one whole day to play 18 holes... that was little too much. I don't think I will go back for a LONG TIME.
Fairway conditions are OK. Greens are slow to normal. Many ball marks on the greens.
Bunkers are normally thin and hard.

Played Sun 12/21 with email special $40 including cart.
Overall fairway conditions are good. Few repair areas. This course is lot shorter than the South course but has many well-placed bunkers. Bunkers are various... some soft and some hard. Watch out for pot bunkers on #16. I had good practice with the bunkers on Sunday. Greens... don't know whether I should say they are great or just #$#%!. Had very tough time with the holes. Many challenging putts. Best to hit below the holes. Downhill putts on these greens were killer. Had several 3 putts.
Hate the hole placements... but we all enjoyed the round. Great course and it was beautiful day!

Whitter became my normal Sunday round course. I love coming here to practice my swings. Wide open fairways and long. Great place to test out your new clubs or new swings. Fairways are OK... bare spots here and there. Greens were bit soft side. Little too much water. Greens are bit bang up - bit bumpy. Tee box areas are bit rough and unleveled. Need to fix the tee box areas. Bunkers are OK. Some fairway bunkers were dry soil which make it easier for you to get out. Overall it is decent course. Customer services are also very good.

Played Sat morning 11/15. Overall condition is good. Pace is always slow ~ 5hr round.
Greens are normal and sometimes slow. Flat but long course ~ 6801yds but on weekends they usually put the blue tees on the normal white tees. Several times even ahead of the white tees. When you post your scores, don't post as Blue tees. Fairways are OK, some bare spots. On the back nine, we saw cloud of black smokes coming toward the course from the CA fires. Feel sorry for the victims...
Customer services are always great. Thumbs up for the staff at DB.

Played Sun 10/26. It would be very nice course if the management really work on the course. Still have many bare spots on the fairways. Greens are bumpy and bit slow. Bunkers are poor... either hard or wet soil. Doesn't worth the green fees. They should lower the rate or improve the course. Customer services are good. Staff is very nice. Many of the fairways are divided by tall trees thus require punch out if you have problems with your tee shots.

Played Sat 10/18. Customer services are good. Been playing here regularly for last few months and the staff has been great. They have aerated the other half of the greens. Greens have healed very nicely. I really like the idea of aerating half of the greens. Unless you ball landed on the part of aerated green, it won't bother with your play. With so much traffic on this course, overall conditions are good. Can't beat the price. It's getting harder to find courses charging green fees under $50. Had a great time. Ready to go back this weekend.

Played 10/12 Sund with coupon to play Avila and Blacklake for $99. We got lost using goggle map. Better call the pro shop for direction before trusting the goggle map. Good customer service. This is three nine hole courses. They have been aerating the greens few weeks ago. We played Lake / Canyon courses. Greens are healing very well. Fairways are in good condition. Greens are bit slow due to aeration. Bunkers are just OK. There are few holes with water hazards. Very enjoyable courses.

Played Sat 10/11 in the afternoon. Customer service is great. Very friendly people. We were expecting to see several ocean view holes but it didn't. Front nine is same old golf view but the back nine did have several nice views. Several holes with narrow fairways. Need accurate tee shots. It also has several blind tee shots. If you know the course, this is not that difficult course. Since we were new to this course, we all had difficulties.
Plus the winds... :-(
Fairways are in good shape. Greens are fast and firm.
Need more visible distance markers or install GPS.
We had a coupon to play Blacklake and Avila Beach for $99. We would hate to pay full price to play this course.
Overall we all had good times and enjoyed the course.

Played Sun 10/05. They aerated two weeks ago and the greens healed very well. Fairways are in decent shape except the tee boxes. I am not sure why they are not fixing the tee boxes. Feel like you are hitting from a rough and many unleved tee boxes. Bunkers are bit hard... need more sands. Green speeds are normal. Couple of new greens look fast but actually normal to slow. Don't let the look deceive you. Customer service has improved great deal... good job with Tom & Craig.

Played Sat 10/04. They aerated the 1/2 of the greens which works pretty well for us. This was my first experienced with each greens being aerated just the half of them. They place the pins where they have not aerated. Putting was OK. Overall condition of the course is alright. Enjoyed the rain... missed few putts due to rain.

Played Tues 09/23 with $35/person coupon after 1:00pm. We got there early and they allow us tee off before 1:00pm. That was nice... Thanks Trilogy. Course was pretty open and we were able to finish the front nice within two hours. We took half hour beer break before we continue the back nine. Fairway condition is very good except the greens are bit bumpy. Must be preparing for aeration... Bunkers are good on most of them. This course is bit short even from blue tees. You might tempted to play from black tees. Lots of change of elevation... beautiful views from many holes. #18 Awesome. Great course and great customer services. Love the club house. $2 draft beer during happy hours + nachos ...Awesome.
