Played first 13 holes at twilight on 11/11 and still is cart path only. Fairways are soggy due to overseeding so no roll. Wait for yellow alert to go away before spending $$ here. Some greens still have issues. Number nine has gopher problem.

Played at 8AM on 11/2. Course was wet for the most part so fairways did not have much roll. Greens were dressed with sand after the recent punch. Traps were inconsistent with sand. Course is hard to play trying to sight where you want the ball to go do to lack of trees and the everpresent burn. I hope to play better next time but had no excuse with perfect weather conditions at 93 degrees and no wind.

Played 10/24 and greens still bumpy from punch over one week ago. Hole 16 is a par 4 420 yard with temporary green to the left. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Not too crowded as my buddy and I played as a twosome on Saturday morning. Recession must be killing the courses business.

Played 7/15 and got my round in 5 hours! Tee time at 10AM and everyone kept moving. Greens are hard to read, especially given my five three putts. The greens are small but the course is there for the taking. Putts that are up hill facing the ocean act as swift downhillers so beware. Course is in good shape for the number of rounds it receives. Will be back in August to hopefully putt better.

Played the North 6/14. Our tourney was interspersed with a Junior girls event and there was a playoff on 18 that must have been played three times by the same walking twosome. Greens were hard to judge on speed for me that day. I totaled 43 putts while shooting a 93! I have some work ahead of me with the flatstick. Los Serranos always treats the customers great and cart girls are seen repeatedly. I will be back.

Played HVGC for the first time on 5/22. Tee time of 1:40 with no one to play with for the first few holes until I slowed down to wait for the twosome behind me. Straight tee balls for the high handicappers or the ability to work the ball for single digit players is a must. I enjoyed the views and especially liked the conditions of the greens. Best greens in Corona/Norco area, in my opinion. A few holes are tricked up but all in all, a great golf experience.

Played the course 4/19 for the first time in a tournament. From the white tees, course plays very short. A 410 yd. par 5!

Played 1/10 with our Mens Club for the first time. Quality of the greens is excellent given the traffic they get. No real surprises as every shot is in front of you. If your game needs a shot of confidence, Dad Miller will provide it. Back to back par 4 300 yard holes will get you going.

Played 11/25 and the greens are in fantastic shape with consistent speed and feel. Great nine hole facility for for $10 on Golf Now when available.

As bradleycoop said, tee boxes for black and blue were under repair so white/blue tee markers were together for most holes. This was my first time playing Skylinks and I enjoyed it. I think their fairways are in better shape and use a grass that I am unfamiliar with but it allows for the ball to sit up nice. The course was wet due to overnight rains so some collection areas were soaked. Sand traps also had moisture as well.

I enjoyed the course and played 18 holes in less than 3.5 hours on Election Day afternoon. Next time I will walk the course. I would recommend this course to the 18 handicappers of the world since there is little trouble on this course. However, $40 for greenies at twilight seems high.

Aliso Viejo has over 300 members now. I think if they reach 400, they may close the door to public play.

I was not that impressed with the course or conditioning. Granted, they were overseeding so the fairway grass was long. The greens were intermediate in speed. The sand traps were very good. Not sure if its worth $55.00. The clubhouse was top shelf but the cart girl was not circling the course too fast.

Many of the holes looked too similar and at 6500 yards from the blacks, not much of a challenge for single handicap players when the wind stops blowing.

Played 10/19. The front nine greens are still bumpy from the recent punching while the back nine are in good shape. Overall, the course played longer than in typical wet spot winter conditions.
