Played 5/21 in the PM. Greens are very hard to read and speed is not consistent. All other parts of this course give it high ratings for a resort course. Pro shop is first rate and includes a shoe service. They completely understand that the customer comes first.

Played in intermittent rain at Temeku Hills yesterday for the first time. I was somewhat leery given prior reviews but was pleasantly surprised by the course conditions, especially the greens which I would rate 8 out of 10. Tee boxes were OK while the fairways had issues in some areas. Hole 18 is a great hole. The par threes from the blues are all 165 yds plus while the par fours are not that tough.

I would enjoy playing here again in drier conditions.

Played here 12/28. Hole 14 was a temporary 76yd hole while they fix a collapsed drain under the regular green. Course was in very good shape and has drained well. The floods really did damage to the vegetation on the back nine but kudos to the course superintendent and staff for making the course playable.

Played 12/27. Only a few fairways with swampy conditions. Greens in great shape but rough is tough since the rainy conditions do not allow mowing.

Played 8/18 and the course is in the best shape I have seen it in the summer due to all the foggy conditions this summer. Greens are great right now and fairways have more green grass than usual. Play SCGC before it gets hot.

Played Talking Stick South for the first time on July 4. Generous fairways and receptive greens is way to play. This course is exactly what the doctor ordered for low scoring as compared to tricky SoCal conditions I am used to. Greens putted true and the grain was easy to pick up and read. Sand traps were in great shape. For $45, this is a greens fee not to be missed. The heat was not bad at 102 as we had occasional breezes.

Played 5/22 and finished in 4.25 hours. Pace of play was OK. Greens are very hard to read and putts will break uphill on some holes. This course would be a real gem if they were able to replace the greens.

Sand is inconsistent in bunkers and rough and collar of greens are juicy grass that is tough to get through for first time player.

Did not see a cart girl all afternoon. I did have the displeasure to have a group of Asians who wanted to quickly tee off into us as soon as our feet left the putting surface. More than once we were buzzed by tee shots. No marshall to b$tch them out.

Played May 1 and course conditions were great. Well maintained course, nice pro shop and good food service. It is a fun place to play for all levels of handicap. The par 3 eighth hole at over 200 yards requiring a 185 yard carry over Aliso Creek is a real test.

Played 4/18 in four hours. Starter reversed course, beginning with tenth hole. Overall, course and greens in very good shape and wind was not blowing so it was a great day for scoring conditions. I especially enjoy the carts with yardage to front and back of greens.

Played 1/9 with the new configuration at Green River, a melding of Riverside 12 holes and Orange 6. The front 9 is Riverside, no changes. Hole 10 of Riverside used to be a par 5, now a long 450 yd. par 4. Hole 11 is unchanged. Hole 12 was hole 18 on Riverside. The last six holes are from the Orange side and the course finishes with two par 5's. From the blues, yardage is 6635 and from the whites, its 6269. For a Saturday at 11:40, we went out as a twosome. The pro shop and cart girl said the number of players is down since the changeover. I like the new layout much better.

Course conditions were dry so drives rolled out nicely. Greens were in good shape but fairways were not well tended. I hope they did not lay off all their maintenance staff.

Played 12/27 and course was in decent shape for RSJ. Greens were good while fairways were in typical goat path mode. Get the golfnow greenies price otherwise its not worth it.

Played 12/13 and tee'd off at 1PM and got in 18 holes by 4:40PM! Where is everybody? Course was in good shape after all the rain with only a few bunkers showing water. Greens were slow but speed was consistent which is all you can ask.
