I play this course once a year, and only for the free birthday round. You can get this through their website and is good for your birthday plus or minus a week. That would be the only time to play here, as the conditions are terrible here, might as well play on the Steelers football field after heavy rains and a long drawn out game. Lots and lots of dirt/mud patches on the fairway, and even their best patch of fairway grass would be worse than the worst grass seen at any other course. There is worse rough, feels like a hiking trail instead of rough. The bunkers are ok here, maybe the best part of the course, yet still not on par with most other courses. Greens are very slow. Still, this place has a place in my heart since I come here every year and was the first course I ever played.
The range is off grass during the week and on mats during weekends. Good chipping, pitching, bunker, and practice green. I come here more for practice that to play golf.

Great conditions here at a course with a nice layout. Many areas with water and OB lost so bring a couple extra balls. Bunkers are long and if you are in the back of the bunker, hit it hard. Cart have GPS to all hazards and carts have a ball/club washer and cooler with water bottles in them. The big rock mountain is always in sight and a nice touch. There will be another 18 holes, 2nd clubhouse and hotel resort in the future. Greens are fast but fair. Rough is cut well and not too difficult to hit out of. There are some pebble waste areas so if you have a club you don't mind potentially scratching, bring that. Had a great time here, another nice Palmer course.

What a test. Jack Nicklaus is mean, elevated greens, valleys along the sides of the holes and fairway, and huge diabolical bunkers that you may as well hit backwards to get out of. Nonetheless it was a picturesque course and in excellent shape. Bring an few extra balls, as I lost a couple to water and backyards. Good company at the GK event and a great days out playing a great course. Check out Eddies for a refreshing beer and burger afterwards.

Got on as a single at 6 and went around in just over 3.5 hours. Course overall is in decent shape. Rough is bare in parts, but great in others. Bunkers are a bit moist and hard to do a real sand shot, more like a pitch to get out. Greens are pretty good from the aeration, but could use a rolling. Fairways were good and once in a while you will be in a hole or divot. Course layout is nice, lots of trees that magnetically attract balls, they are not 70% air around here.

Played Sunday Morning at 9 am, took about 4 - 4 1/2 hours. Replayed at 2:30, finished in 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Not the nicest play, but good for mid to higher handicappers. All 3's and 4's here. Bring a few extra balls as there is water and thick foilage around.

First group out at Twilight, and was able to finish. Started at 1, and finished about 6:45. Course is in great shape, with the exception of hole 15 with a muddy fairway. Lost a couple balls, so make sure you have at least a full sleeve or 2 if you play near an index in the 20's. Lots of blind tee shots, so try to guess where your ball will land as to not lose it.

Right now is a great time to play this course. Course is in great condition currently from tee to green, just don't stray to the rough, as it can be very tough to hit from, some times it is very thick, sometimes it is patchy. Greens are lightning fast, so keep all approaches to the very front of the green if you aren't able to spin the ball like me. Bring a few extra balls or sleeves depending on your fades (slices) as there are many ESA's and OB areas where you will lose balls. A very fun and picturesque course that is in great condition currently.

Fun course to walk, but weekends can get a little slow. Right now its in good condition and very enjoyable. Greens hold shots pretty well and fairways generally are good overall. Rough can use some work to be consistent. Fairways are all side by side, so expect to have people in your fairways trying to get back on to them. No real trouble of losing your ball except maybe in one spot, but generally even hackers can get by with just 1 ball :)

Maybe it was the rain, but this course is in pretty good condition right now. I don't see all the problems like others have said. Fairways are great to me. Greens roll well as well. Pace wasn't fast, but not that slow either. From tee to green I'd say it is in good condition, with the unrepaired divots here and there.

Played 1/31 and had a great time. Course is very green, rain has helped a lot. Fairways look great, and greens are lightening fast. Try to play approach shots to the front of the green, as they will roll to the back. Near the hole, fairway is cut super thin. I putted from over 65 yards away, and was able to get it to within 5 feet. There is some thinking to do on the course, as driver is not always the best option, although I took driver each time. Your drives and approaches will roll far on this course.

My 3rd or 4th time playing here, but first time I walked it. Front 9 is easy to walk, and back 9 is more in the moderate range with the hills. Course is a good layout with some challenging areas. Driver is not the answer for every par 4 here. Course is in pretty good condition, as fairways are pretty nice considering the amount of play that it gets. Bunkers had more sand that I'm used to, as I'm used to muni dirt. Greens rolled very well and didn't notice many ball marks. The rough was inconsistent. Sometimes thin, sometimes thick, sometimes loose. Great times to be had here though.

Nice peaceful track and in great condition. From tee to green it is well manicured. Very calm, and a good looking course, except with one tee box you see a bunch of cow butt's behind you. Pace was good, never too much of a wait on any hole. Drove to the clubhouse at 7 as a walk on single and was out in the next group.
