LAKEWOOD, BIG REC, OR EL DORADO ARE 100 TIMES BETTER THEN THIS CRAP AND AT HALF THE PRICE.

I have been playing here for 15 years and I have never seen it in worse shape. The greens were like putting on compacted mud filled with holes and I have seen better fairways at a goat farm. The management of this course should be taken to jail for charging $50.00 bucks a round, it’s not worth .50 cents. One good thing about our round was that it only took 5.5 hours instead of the tradition 6 hours to play. I’m never going back.

Green are looking good. Grass is dormate so the rough is very short. EVERYONE FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!!!!!

Slowest round I've played in a long, long time. 3-1/2 hours for 9 holes. Fivesomes everywhere.

Course is in good shape. Greens are in fairly good shape but lots of play in dec. means their on the mend. Grass is going dorment so is very short with lots of roll.

Okay here's the real review from a true insider. My golf team (Cypress High School) is the CIF champions of the Southern Section and our home course IS skylinks golf course. Well have i got a list of improvements for the greenskeeper there to make.... POST SIGNS THAT SAY "REPAIR YOUR d%mn DIVOTS!!!!" Nobody ever fixes their divots there because it would not even make a dent in the divots that are unrepaired already on the green. There is a bright side to this course though... the fairways. I love these fairways for their firmness. So much spin is produced by them that it almost makes the ball stop on these rock hard greens. My advice to you golfers out there considering playing this course, wait until the greens have been fully revamped in order to make them softer and more resemblant to the greens of El Dorado.

Excellent course that gives a challenge unlike others in Long Beach area. Enjoy playing bermuda fairways and rough, and the bent grass greens make the putts true and fast.
